2.3. Scope of the Project

I am reaching to propose to automation process in at enhancing efficiency in resolving issue related to


the information which is not on manufacturer website. Currently we have the UI path automation to
raise the task for brand specialist. I want to make the extension of the automation by shifting UI path to
python-based automation.

2.3.1. Answer the below questions:


1. What happens if the automation is not built?

Without the automation, the lack of input from brand specialists would
negatively impact
brand work and productivity.

2. How often will this automation be used?


The automation will be used on weekly bases.
3. What is the main use of the tool: Productivity increase, Validation of data
The use of this automation can allow associate to work in background and the productivity
can not hamper.
If the brand specialist giving the information the productivity will increase.

2.6 Mock-up

Following the automation's execution, the first step will choose an excel spreadsheet, from which the
defect type and vendor code will be selected. The second step is that after choosing the defect type and
vendor code, the Winston page will open. The vendor will then verify whether the page contains the
agreement or not. If it does, it will select the provided excel FATs for Coldstart and the recently launched
AVS C return program, and it will provide the upload sheet for Winston raising.

After uploading the template in Winston, the associate will provide the Winston id excel spreadsheet.
The automation will select the sheet 1. In the excel sheet 1 the automation will select the Winston id
and it will open the Winston and upload the spreadsheet in the task id.
