NARRATIVE REPORT
Oral hygiene is the practice of keeping your mouth clean and free of disease by
regularly brushing and flossing your teeth, and visiting the dentist. A good smile goes far
beyond just looks, however. A healthy smile is important for the health of your entire body,
especially your teeth and gums.

On November 5, 2024 the Schools Division Office of Canlaon City Health Section
personnels introduces the Bright Smiles, Bright Futures Program (BSBF) for the school year
2024-2025, a joint program of DepEd and Colgate-Palmolive Philippines. The Division office
distributed boxes compose of kiddie toothbrush and a 214g tube of toothpaste. MASULOG
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL was one of the schools to be a beneficiary of the said program and
received seventy (70) pcs of Kiddie Toothbrush and five (5) boxes 214g tube Colgate
Toothpaste intended for the kinder pupils. Also, the Grade 1 pupils receive a total of eighty
four (84) Kiddie toothbrush and six (6) boxes of 214g tube Colgate toothpaste. The teachers
are also instructed to distribute the oral health kits to each of their pupils and conduct and
oversee the daily toothbrushing activity, and also monitor and document the behavioral
progress and improvements in oral hygiene among learners.

There is nothing more stunning than a big, bright smile. A happy smile is a healthy
smile, which is a sign of a healthy person. You may not think about how often you use your
mouth for things, but it is truly one of our most dependable assets.
