Beliefs on Teaching and
Learning (PRE)
The second place after the home where students’ conduct and potential for
academic success are influenced is the school. Additionally, learning and teaching
activities took place in classroom in order to impart the genuine meaning of education
to students.

Teaching is a process of learning from your students, colleagues, parents, and

the community. This is a lifelong process where you can learn new strategies, new
ideas, and new philosophies. With dedication, perseverance, and hard work, the
students will rise to the fullest. Teaching and learning are the combination of
knowledge, subject matter, information, understanding, and skill from teaching.
Research on learning and memory provides teachers with essential scientific
knowledge that is useful for understanding and improving school learning.
Additionally, to educate is not just to comply with the intended learning objectives
for the students but to allow the students to become better educated.

In my opinion, Teaching and learning are vice-versa when you teach you can gain
new knowledge, when you learn a new thing, it can teach you how to that but some
learning you can get after a failure. In that way teaching and learning are not limited
to the classroom or the school. Finally, teaching and learning are critical for everyone
success.
Beliefs on Teaching and
Learning (POST)
After being a field student observer, my understanding of some things has
widened. I’ve realize that teaching is more than just teaching; it also planning,
executing, assessing, leading providing feedback to all students, and learning is more
that just learning; it’s about sharing thoughts, knowledge, and ideas. Learning is not
easy. Instead, perseverance and dedication are required to reach our goal. Create an
active learning environment, focus attention, connect knowledge, help expectations
with student support, enhance motivation to learn, communicate your message in a
variety of ways, and help students to productively manage their time according to the
literature and experience of teaching.

Learning is not always fun and enjoyable, and teaching is not an easy job. Both
are difficult and are not always fun and interesting. Being a teacher is not always
easy, and students are not always enthusiastic in studying.

As we move along, teaching and learning are essential life processes since they
form the cornerstone of development. In order to achieve development, one must use
both of these techniques in an effort to bring out significant behavioral changes.
Additionally, I think that since teaching and learning have different pedagogical
approaches and theoretical frameworks, they are on an equal basis.

Now I understand that learning also applies to teachers and every person on our
world since learning never goes away, regardless of whether we are currently students
or not. In the same way that children never stop learning, neither do teachers; this is
because learning never ceases in this world.
Irtroduction

Field studies 1 and 2 represent the initial experiential

learning course that immerses aspiring teachers in authentic
settings and educational contexts, where they can directly observe
teaching and learning interactions while concentrating on the
implementation of educational theories acquired from content and
pedagogy courses. This experience enables pre-service students to
actively participate in a select number of real teaching-learning
activities, including assessing student learning, creating
instructional materials, preparing bulletin boards, and performing
various classroom routines.

The primary aim of the field study was to observe the

teaching and learning process of students as they adapt to new
standardized education in order to fulfill the needs of young
learners. Consequently, each field study student is required to ask
questions and conduct interviews with a teacher about how they
address various challenges and situations to ensure high-quality
education. We are expected to take note of the school's facilities
and classroom resources, as well as the school's organizational
structure, since this is our initial experience in the school setting.
Reflection
Through my experiences in Field Study 1 and 2, I had the
opportunity to conduct my first field observation outside the
campus. The primary focus of Field Study 1 is to engage in
firsthand experiences with learners, as well as to examine the
physical characteristics of the school, including various facilities
and classrooms. This was my first experience meeting a wide range
of students from different disciplines. It was also my initial
encounter with direct classroom observation. I gained valuable
insights from the students regarding issues that impact the overall
learning environment. My cooperating teacher provided many
insights and suggestions on how to create an effective classroom
that meets the diverse needs of all learners.

T he observation concluded effectively, providing numerous

insights and experiences. I also had many valuable realizations and
reflections from the experience.

Overall, the first priority for a teacher should be to

comprehend and recognize the uniqueness of each student within
the classroom before initiating any activities. It is essential to
ensure that all subsequent processes are based on the learners'
needs.

Participation and Teaching Assistantship, or FS 2, This

will lead us to understand the true nature of being a teacher and
the essence of teaching. It will offer practical support for the
Field Study 1 and foundational professional education courses we
have already completed. There are more new experiences,
adventures, and knowledge awaiting us in this Field Study book.
Reflection
During my fieldwork, I became aware of the immense effort
teachers put into providing a quality education for their students and
creating a safe, positive learning environment. All interactions
between students and teachers should be conducted with
professionalism. I have come to understand through this course that
education is a lifelong process. This course will guide us on the right
path to becoming effective teachers. As aspiring educators, it will
serve as our foundation for achieving our dream careers.
Furthermore, this course is rich in knowledge that will help us become
the teachers we aspire to be and enhance our personal and
professional growth. I recognize that completing a portfolio for this
course may be challenging and stressful, but I believe it will be
worthwhile if I remain patient and dedicated.

As a future educator, it is crucial for me to study and

understand what field study books entail, as they will equip me with
the knowledge and insights needed to become an empowered teacher. I
aspire to transform weakness into strength, negativity into positivity,
self-pity into self-confidence, and a non-essentialist mindset into an
essentialist approach for my future students. By achieving this, I can
confidently state that I am a truly globally competitive and
professional educator.
Deployment Day
When we chatted where we want to
undergo Fiel Study my choice was Tuboran
National High School. at first, I was hesitant
because of the distance and of course financial
is not that simple everyday I need 200 pesos
for my allowance. But in the end I still pursue
Tuboran National High School

When our time to deploy I arrive

early at Tuboran our cooperating school. So
I stay in barangay hall of Tuboran which is
front of Tuboran National High School
together with my fellow Pre-service
teacher.

When our dean has arrived that the time

we enter the TUboran National High School
campus I feel the warm welcome of the guard
especially the student who great us. We enter in
the Principal Office in there Doc. Oballo our
dean and Ma’am Batino the school head of
Tuboran National High School talked about our
deployment. When our dean return in NDC-TFI

who might be our Cooperating Teacher.
Deployment Day

Finally, we meet our different Cooperating

Teacher, Ma’am Jezzel H. Cartoneros a Grade 9
adviser and handled Filipino subject in Grade 7.
My first impression to my Cooperating teacher is
strict so I feel nervous to our first meeting. But
in the end she was responsible teacher and very
patience towards me.
Demonstrations

This is only the evaluation form I have. My cooperating teacher

observe me before my final demonstration teaching. This is a big help for
me because I see what I need to improve in my performance. Her
feedback are useful for me to enhance my teaching skills. Teaching us to
learn from our mistakes, and make a change of it. Just accept weaknesses
and have room for improvement. My first teaching experience as a
teaching intern was fulfilling and exciting.

When the date of the final demonstrations teaching is already set

on October 15, 2024, I immediately inform my Cooperating Teacher for
the preparation. For my topic, My CT let me choose the topic that I want
to discuss for my demonstration teaching from her book in Filipino.
Demonstrations
After I decided what my topic which is “Awiting Bayan”, I
immediately conduct a research in some Education Website for me to
have an idea on which learning Outcomes I should apply. I started
writing my Semi-detailed lesson plan and let my CT check my lesson
plan. I start my preparation like doing my PowerPoint Presentation.
Cutting some materials that needed in my Final Demo.

Before my Final demo my Mom buy some simple thank gift for
my students like ball pen, color pin, and correction tape. In the day of
the final demonstration teaching, I went to school early for me to more
time to practice.

At exactly 10:30 I started my demo teaching, before we start

the final demo feel nervous so I pray to by myself to guide me and
finish my final demo successfully. I start my final demo and thank I
didn’t forget anything and remember anything in my lesson plan.
After my final demo my cooperating Teacher always remind me that you
should not be sarcasm so that learners did not feel bad to their answer.
