SNIC CAMP REPORT

INTRODUCTION OF SNIC CAMP
SNIC Camp (Special National Integration Camp) is an
initiative organized by the NCC (National Cadet
Corps) in India. It aims to promote national
integration, foster a sense of unity, and encourage
understanding among students from different parts
of the country. The camp serves as a platform for
students to interact, exchange cultural experiences,
and participate in community service activities.

Purpose:
The primary purpose of the SNIC camp is to bring
together students from diverse backgrounds,
regions, and cultures to strengthen the spirit of
national unity and social harmony. It aims to make
participants more aware of the country's diverse
social, cultural, and economic landscapes, while
encouraging them to engage in activities that
promote social welfare.
Objectives
1. Promote National Integration: Foster a sense of
unity among students from different states and
regions.
2. Cultural Exchange: Encourage sharing of cultural
traditions, customs, and practices to promote mutual
respect and understanding.
3. Community Engagement: Involve students in social
and community development activities, contributingto
societal welfare.
4. Enhance Leadership Skills: Provide opportunities
for students to take on leadership roles, improving
their personal and social responsibility.
5. Develop Awareness: Increase awareness of
national issues such as social justice, environmental
concerns, and community welfare.

Overall, SNIC camps aim to create a sense of national


pride, enhance social consciousness, and build a
community spirit among youth across India.

OUR JOURNEY CONDUCTED:-
Journey for an SNIC (Special National Integration
Camp). Here's a clearer breakdown based on details:

1. Travel Itinerary:
- 15th October 2024:
- Arrival at Charbagh Train Station
- Reached Chhayapuri at 11:00 pm
- Traveled to Vadodara by auto
- Stayed in the waiting room at the station until
morning.
- 16th October 2024:
- Departure from Vadodara at 5:00 am
- Reached Ekta Nagar at 7:30 am
- A bus took you to the camp location
SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
It sounds like a memorable and impactful camp with a blend of
rigorous practice, cultural exchange, and high-profileIt sounds like
the SNIC program had a structured schedule of practice,
preparation, and special visits. Here’s an organized summary of
the events:

Training and Practice Sessions:


- 17th - 21st October 2024: Continuous practice at UP Directorate.
- 22nd October 2024: UP Directorate earned the title "Fragrance of
Unity."
- 23rd - 28th October 2024: Practice sessions in Kewadiya, at
GNLA Rajpipla, Gujarat, wearing NCC lower t-shirts until 28th
October.
- 29th October 2024: Practiced in cultural dress for final
preparations.
IMPORTANT EVENTS
- 26th October 2024: Visited the Statue of
Unity, the Underground Museum, and other
notable sites in Kewadiya.
- 30th October 2024: Received NCC kits from
Gujarat for all directorates.
- 31st October 2024: Performed live in front of
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and DG
NCC Lt. Gen Gurbirpal Singh AVSM VSM.

- Honored with a medal at the SNIC camp, presented by DG NCC, Lt.
Gen. Gurbirpal Singh, on behalf of the UP Directorate.

4. Group HQ Recognition
- A photo frame was presented as a keepsake to be sent to Group
Headquarters, representing the UP Directorate’s accomplishments at
the camp.
