1. Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) has funds for renovation of ATC House, Administration
Block,Hangar and out stations’ offices for the period of 2017-2022. During the financial year
2018/2019, it is intended that part of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the
contract for the Proposed Renovation for Arusha station office at Mafao House, Arusha Municipality-
Arusha Region.
2. Air Tanzania Company Limited now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors registered in Class
Four and above in Building Category for the Renovation of Arusha station office at Mafao House,
Arusha Municipality, Arusha Region. The project scope will involve construction and Renovation of
Building and external works under single lot as follows:_

Bidders must quote for all works
3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in Regulation
76 (Goods, Works, Non Consultancy Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Government
Notice No. 446 of 2013 and is open to all eligible bidders
4. Invited Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of
the Secretary, Tender Board, ATC House, located at the Junction of Ohio Street/Garden
Avenue/Pamba Road, Ilala-Dar es Salaam, second (2) Floor from 9:00am to 3:30pm on Mondays to
Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document (s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by
interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given 4 above and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs 100,000/=.Payment should be either be by cash or Banker’s
Cheque, payable to Air Tanzania Company Limited.
6. All bids in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain separate inner
envelopes properly marked ‘original’ and ‘copies’ as appropriate, sealed in one plain outer envelope,
must be delivered to the address below at or before Tuesday 16h July, 2019 at 14:00 Hrs. Bids will
be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to
attend in the opening at the Air Tanzania Company Limited, ATC House second floor located on
Plots No.773/59&774/40 at the Junction of Ohio/Garden Avenue/Pamba Road , Ilala -Dar es
Salaam
7. The outer cover containing the bid document shall be properly marked “SECRETARY, TENDER
BOARD, AIR TANZANIA COMPANY LIMITED, P.O.BOX 543 DAR ES SALAAM, TENDER No.
PA/100/2018/2019/HQ/W/09 FOR PROPOSED RENOVATION OF ARUSHA STATION OFFICE AT
NSSF MAFAO HOUSE,ARUSHA MUNICIPALITY, ARUSHA REGION NOT TO BE OPENED
BEFORE FRIDAY, 12th JULY, 2019 AT 14:00 HRS.
8. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, and bids not received, bids not opened at the bid opening
ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
