- Introduction
- If you are given a task which will take 1 week to complete but you need to
complete it in 3 days what\'ll you do ?
- If you are given multiple tasks how will you manage ?
- If one of your team member is absent and his task is given to you but you already
have many tasks what\'ll you do ?
- If there is a conflict in your team how will you handle ?
- Asked me about project and how did I implement ?
- Difference between pass by value and pass by reference ?

I applied for the position Associate Systems Engineer. They Invited me to off-
campus in Malla Reddy College of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad.

1st Round: Coding Test held by Hacker Rank.

Given string str, the task is to check whether the given string is valid IFSC
(Indian Financial System) Code.
The valid IFSC (Indian Financial System) Code must satisfy the following
conditions:

It should be 11 characters long.

The first four characters should be upper case alphabets.
The fifth character should be 0.
The last six characters usually numeric, but can also be alphabetic.

Input: str = "SBIN0125620;

Output: true
Explanation:
The given string satisfies all the above mentioned conditions. Therefore it is a
valid IFSC (Indian Financial System) Code.

Input: str = "SBIN0125;

Output: false
Explanation:
The given string has 8 characters. Therefore it is not a valid IFSC (Indian
Financial System) Code.

Input: str = "1234SBIN012;

Output: false
Explanation:
The given string doesn\'t starts with alphabets. Therefore it is not a valid IFSC
(Indian Financial System) Code.
Have to pass the Test cases.(Atleast 2 Test cases out of 7)

Please practice coding in Hacker Rank before attending the interview. So that it
will be easy for you to understand the exam pattern.

From 2nd round on wards Elimination rounds.

2nd round: Cognitive Ability Test Games.
30 minutes to complete IBM\'s game-based cognitive ability assessment.

If you clear the Cognitive Ability Test Games round, you will be invited to
Learning Agility Assessment.
Describe yourself as you generally are now, not as you wish to be in the future.

For each statement please indicate whether you:

1) Strongly Disagree with the statement as a description of you;

2) Disagree with the statement as a description of you;

3) Slightly Disagree with the statement as a description of you;

4) Neither Agree nor Disagree with the statement as a description of you;

5) Slightly Agree with the statement as a description of you;

6) Agree with the statement as a description of you;

7) Strongly Agree with the statement as a description of you.

Based on the question we have select the options.

If you clear Learning agility test, you will be invited to English Language
Assessment.
English Language Assessment(15 mins).

Simple Grammer related questions and Spellings are given with multiple choice.(easy
round).

I cleared that round and they told me to attend for the interview next day.

HR Round:
They ask some basic Java questions.

HR questions:
Tell me about yourself.
why IBM?
About IBM?
Hobbies?
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Why should I hire you?

On Jan 13th I got a mail from IBMer to fill Background check forms.
On March 9th I joined in IBM.

Never give up.

Have to be patient to clear the rounds. :)

Hi all,

I attended IBM off campus drive at Banglore for the position of systems engineer.
There were 4 online assessments.

1. Coading ( Hakers rank platform).

2. Cognitive ability games.
3. Learning ability ( agree, disagree, completely agree kind of questions).
4. Verbal ability ( English grammar).

All the rounds were elimination rounds.

In Coading round they\'ll ask simple coading question that can be solved easily if
you are good with programming, try solving it in Hakers rank online platform while
practising. And all other online assessment rounds can easily be tackled.
After clearing all the rounds there was technical and HR interview together. Be
confident and don\'t be nervous. Be clear and tharow with resume because most of
the questions are rised from it.

Finally I was done with interview and received the offer letters through mail after
a month. Am a proud IBMer now.

After trying many company I was dishearted, finally I made it to IBM.

So Don\'t loose hopes just try to the fullest every time and keep updating your
skills. All the best

After attending 23 interviews finally Selected in IBM GTS profile.

Actually recently IBM changed the pattern.

It makes easier for me to clear the exam.

1st round is gaming Pattern.

There are 5 modules.

1st module.
Basic addition subtraction multiple and division They will give one target number.

Ex 12.

Choices will be appears within the bubble 4÷3, 4+8, 5+8 etc.,

You have to choose correct combination which will make 12 Time is very short do as
much as possible.
Every bubble will disappear after 3 to 4 second.

2nd module.

Same like first module.

But screen will be split as 2.
But you have to choose which side is correct.
They will provide one number you have to choose between.
Right side or left side which makes the given no.

Ex given no is 6.

Left. | Right.

((3)x2)x0. | (1+2)x2.

You have to choose which side makes the given no.

You have to be careful Little trick questions will appear.

3rd model.

Puzzle.
Like ordinary puzzle.

4th module.
Is also puzzle But you have to arrange at 180, 90, 270 degree Be careful read the
given questions carefully Because questions will be like 180 degree right, 90 left.

5th Module.

Shortest path.

We have to find shortest path to reach the destination In the path we have some
numbers and we have some obstacles and some empty space.
To reach the destination we have to move obstacles to the Empty space.

For every move numbers will be added.

You have to reach destination with less point.

If shortlisted.
2nd Round is Psychometric.

For every questions you\'re forced to answer agree or disagree.

In that round think in company point of view.

Answer each and every questions in company perspective.

Some one will say answer honestly But it won\'t work Company didn\'t want your
honest.

Think company point of view and answer.

If shortlisted in psychometric.

Hereafter it\'s totally up to your Communication skills.

In Technical.

For IBM GTS profile.

Don\'t worry about coding and technical stuff.

Just know the theory for programming language you mentioned in resume And
communicate well.

They looking for communication person.

My interview last for 40 minutes.

And HR as usual questions.

But I attended HR 2 times.

1st time I attended, after finishing interview they told me to sit with other
students.
But again they called my name and said to attend again I don\'t know why.
After entering into hr room.

He introduce himself as a IBM special language officer and same HR questions with
different manner.

My experience.

400 people attended.

200 rejected in first round.
120 rejected in 2nd round.
40 rejected in 3rd round.

Remaining 40 I don\'t know how many people will make it I am selected.

As far I know 14 people are selected.

I left the campus after knowing the result of me.

It will be 2 day process.

1st and 2nd round on day 1.

3rd and 4th on day 2.

Don\'t worry if you can\'t able to place in TCS, CTS, Wipro, HCL, all Amcat
companies.

If you fail learn from that experience.

One small mistake will lead to massive collapse.
Try to mold yourself.

I am a not a brilliant person just average student. My CGPA is 6.8.

So if I can means you can.

Some people will get placed in first interview, some in second, some in 10th, some
in 20th and some one is still trying.

Don\'t go for every interview with out knowledge.

Gain some knowledge.
Waiting for offer letter.
