1.0 SITE CLEARANCE
1.1 Clear the site off all shrubs, undergrowth and small SM
trees including grubbing up their roots and dispose as
directed
2.0 EARTH WORKS
2.1 Excavate over site average 150 mm deep to remove to SM
remove vegetable soil, load, wheel and deposit 100
metres away and later spread and level on site where
directed.
2.2 Excavate for foundation trench starting from stripped CM
level not exceeding 1500 mm from ground level. deep
2.3 Allow for maintaining and supporting sides of ITEM
excavation for maintaining excavation for keeping the
same free from fallen materials
3.0 KEEP THE EXCAVATION FREE OF WATER
Allow for keeping excavation free of water and mud by ITEM
pumping bailing or other approved means.
4.0 FILLING AND DISPOSAL
4.1 50 mm fine material for blinding (murram / quarry dust SM
to surface of hardcore well rolled and levelled.
4.2 Load, wheel and deposit surplus excavated material CM
where directed by architect
4.3 300 mm thick approved hardcore filling spread, leveled, CM
well rammed and consolidated in 150 mm thick layers
to receive concrete surface bed.
5.0 ANTI TERMITE TREATMENT
Chemical ant termite treatment executed complete by SM
an approved specialist under ten years guarantee t0
surface blinded hardcore
6.0 DUMP PROOF MEMBRANE
1000-gauge polythene D.P.M. underlay sheeting to SM
bottom slab with end side laps 150 mm.
7.0 CONCRETE WORKS
7.1 50 mm thick plain concrete mix 1:4:8 blinding to SM
foundation strip
7.2 250 mm thick reinforced concrete mix 1:2:4 foundation CM
strip
8.0 WALLING
Masonry walls bedded and joined in cement and sand
(1:4) mortar in:
8.1 400 mm thick brick wall reinforced with 32 x 2 mm loop CM
iron every alternate course.
8.2 300 mm thick brick wall reinforced with 32 x 2 mm loop CM
iron every alternate course.
