The Bats fell short of winning a fourth consecutive International League West Division title, however, with a 73-71 record, they did secure their sixth straight winning season...the Bats havent finished below .500 since 2005 (66-78)...2011 team leaders included OF Jeremy Hermida (.319), IF/OF Danny Dorn (18hr, 74rbi), IF/OF Todd Frazier (17sb), RHP Chad Reineke (9w) and RHP Scott Carroll (85k)...Mgr Rick Sweet became the first skipper in Louisville franchise history to reach 500 wins...LHP Matt Maloney became Louisvilles all-time leader in victories (39), starts (86), strikeouts (435) and innings pitched (516.1).

Sulbaran (9w, 4.60era, 155k)...Hunt hit safely in 20 consecutive games from 4/20-5/16...RHP Curtis Partch led the league with 2 complete games and was one of five Blaze players to earn CL Player of the Week honors (Greene, Hunt, Sulbaran, Eric Campbell).

For the second straight season, the AZL Reds qualified for the league playoffs...the Redlegs won the AZL Central Division Wild Card title with a 31-25 record...they were led by IF Juan Perez (.346), OF Brennan May (7hr, 32rbi), LHP Joel Bender (4w, 3.40era) and RHP Justice French (4w, 55k)...Perez appeared at all 4 infield positions...Reds 2011 second-rounder, 3b Gabriel Rosa batted .245 with 2hr, 10rbi and 6sb in 28 games for the AZL team.
