INSTRUCIONS TO THE EXAMINEES DURING EXAMINATION

1. The examinees must bring the valid admission card with them for entry to the
Examination Hall.
2. Bell Schedule:
a. First Bell: 20 minutes prior to the commencement of the Examination - The
Examinee should occupy his/her seat in the Examination hall answer books shall
be distributed and examinee shall enter desired details like Roll no., Enrollment
no. etc.
b. Second bell: 5 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam signals
distribution of the question paper.
c. Third bell at the beginning of the exam.
d. Fourth bell: after 30 minutes depicting collection of section A.
e. Warning bell: 10 minutes prior to conclusion of the paper.
f. Final bell: at the end of Paper-collection of the answer books.
3. In case of late reporting by the Examinee (after commencement of the exam but before
30 minutes) no additional time shall be given for writing of the answers.
4. If an examinee reports on completion of the time allotted for the Section ‘A’, i.e. after
half an hour of the commencement of the Examination, entry to the Examination Hall
shall be denied.
5. Examinees should not carry Textual Material, Bits of paper, Geometry box, Pencil box,
Plastic pouch, Calculator, Writing pad, Log book, Communication devices like mobile
phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, Pen Drives, Electronic Pens, Scanner, Pager, Health Band,
Wrist Watch, Camera, Wallets, Goggles, Handbags, Hairpins, Scarf, Charms, Tabeez,
Belt, Cap, Brooches, Badges, Rings, Necklace, Pendants, Flowers, Eatables or any
metallic item on their person in the Examination Hall.
6. The Examinees shall wear trousers/Leggings/Salwar and only light coloured half sleeved
Shirts/Kurtis/Jerseys in the Examination Hall.
7. The answer sheets and question papers shall be distributed to the Examinees 20 minutes
& 5 minutes prior to the schedules time of commencement of the Examination
respectively.
8. The Examinee shall read thoroughly and follow all the instructions mentioned on the first
page of the Answer sheet.
9. The candidate should write his/her roll number in words as per the example given below:
Roll No.-14508: should be written Fourteen Thousand five Hundred & Eight and not One
Four Five Zero Eight.
10. In case of Customized answer sheets, the sequence of attempting the questions should be
strictly adhered to as per the instructions given on the Answer sheet. Failure to comply
may result in non-evaluation of the answer sheet.
11. Examinees shall ensure that all important requisite information is duly filled in the space
provided on the first page of the Answer sheet first hand before attempting the questions.
12. Examinees shall invariably sign on the Attendance sheet on each day of the Examination
and the signature should be identical to the one affixed on the Examination form.
13. Writing of name, Stray remarks, identifying marks or symbols of any kind,
Stapling/Pinning/Wrinkling/Tearing of answer books is not warranted and shall invite
strict disciplinary action.
14. No examinee shall be allowed to leave his/her seat within first and last 30 minutes of the
period of the examination.
15. The Examinees shall leave the Examination hall on completion of the Examination and
submission of the Answer sheet only when instructed to do so by the Invigilator.

List of Banded Items in University Examination

Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written) bits of papers, Geometry/
Pencil box, Plastic pouch, Calculator, Pen Scale, Writing pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Log
table, Electronic Pen/ Scanner.
Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphone, Microphone, Pager
and Health Band.
1. Other items like wallet, goggles, handbags, charm/tabees, belt cap, scarf.
2. Any ornament like ring, bracelet, earrings, nose-pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge,
brooch. Any watch/wrist, camera.
3. Any eatable item opened or packed water bottle.
4. Any other item which could be used for unfair means for hiding communication
devices like Camera, Bluetooth devices.

The candidates must note that no arrangements will be made at the centers for
keeping any articles/ items belonging to the candidates in case any candidates is
found in possession of any of the barred items inside the center it will be considered
as use of unfair means and action will be taken against the candidates in accordance
with the relevant provisions.

Dress Code:
The candidates are instructed to follow the following dress code while appearing for
examination.
1. Trousers/Leggings/Salwar and only light colored half sleeved
Shirts/Kurtis/Jerseys in the Examination Hall.
2. Slippers and not the shoes.
