Asking_for_Permission_Activity
Asking_for_Permission_Activity
In this fun activity, students will practice asking for permission by drawing pictures of
situations where people ask for permission. A partner will then guess the permission
question for each picture.
Instructions:
1. 1. In two groups (A and B), students draw pictures that illustrate asking permission
questions in numbered squares. Each question will use different structures like 'May
I...?', 'Can I...?', and 'Is it okay if I...?'.
2. 2. Cut the worksheet so that the drawings and questions are separate.
3. 3. Pair up with someone from the other group and give them your drawings.
4. 4. Take turns guessing the permission question for each picture. Use different
permission structures where possible.
5. 5. You have three chances to guess the question. Scoring:
6. - First try: 3 points
7. - Second try: 2 points
8. - Third try: 1 point
9. 6. The student with the most points at the end of the game wins!
