Daily Study Schedule for Class 10 CBSE

This schedule is designed to help you complete the Class 10 syllabus by 18th January and achieve

a 95% score

in the board exams. It balances new chapter coverage and revision with smart strategies for optimal

retention.

General Guidelines

- Daily Study Hours: Minimum 8-10 hours (including breaks).

- Revision Technique: Active recall and practice questions for Science and Maths.

Mind maps and flashcards for SST and English.

- Breaks: Take 5-10 minute breaks after every 1.5 hours.

Weekly Structure

1. Monday-Friday: New chapters + revision.

2. Saturday-Sunday: Mock tests + IT syllabus + quick revision.

Daily Schedule Template

Morning (6:00 AM - 9:00 AM)

1. Science Revision (6:00 AM - 7:30 AM)

- Active recall of key concepts from Life Processes and Control and Coordination.

- Solve NCERT examples and past papers.

2. Short Break (7:30 AM - 7:40 AM)

3. Mathematics Practice (7:40 AM - 9:00 AM)


- Solve 10-15 problems from Quadratic Equations or Trigonometry daily.

Midday (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

1. New Chapter (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM)

- Science: Pick an untouched chapter like Light or Our Environment.

2. Short Break (11:30 AM - 11:40 AM)

3. Social Science Revision (11:40 AM - 1:00 PM)

- Revise Nationalism in India and practice map-based questions.

Afternoon (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

1. Mathematics (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM)

- Practice Polynomials and Real Numbers. Solve 2-3 past questions.

2. Short Break (3:30 PM - 3:40 PM)

3. IT Syllabus (3:40 PM - 5:00 PM)

- Begin with Unit 1: Employability Skills. Make short notes.

Evening (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM)

1. English Quick Revision (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM)

- Read summaries of poems and prose. Revise writing formats (letter, essay).

2. Short Break (7:00 PM - 7:10 PM)

3. Science Revision (7:10 PM - 9:00 PM)

- Revise another completed chapter, e.g., Electricity or Heredity.

Night (9:30 PM - 10:30 PM)

1. Solve MCQs and past paper questions for Science or Maths.


Weekend Strategy

- Saturday: Mock test (full syllabus) in the morning. Revise IT in the afternoon.

- Sunday: Quick revision of English + SST chapters.

Smart Tips

1. Science & Maths: Solve as many past papers as possible.

2. SST: Create timelines for history, flowcharts for civics, and keywords for economics.

3. IT: Prioritize understanding basic concepts and solving practical questions.

4. English: Practice one writing task and revise grammar daily.
