2.- Write the names of the gametes and the names of different parts. Which is the function of
each part?

3.- Answer the questions related with the human reproduction:
 What is reproduction? How many types of reproduction are? Describe each one.

Reproduction is the biological process by which living organisms produce offspring, There are two
main types of reproduction:sexual and asexual, sexual :

 What is a gamete? What is the name of the female gamete? And male gamete? Search an
image of both gametes.
A gamete is a specialized reproductive cell that carries half the genetic information
(haploid) necessary for the formation of a new individual during sexual reproduction.
 What happen when female and male gametes join? What is the name of this new cell?

When the female gamete (egg) and male gamete (sperm) join, a process called fertilization occurs.
This results in the formation of a zygote, the first cell of a new organism.

 According to genetic, what is the difference between gametes and zygote?

Gametes:

Haploid cells (contain one set of chromosomes, n).

Represented as sperm (male) and egg (female).
Have 23 chromosomes in humans.
Zygote:

Diploid cell (contains two sets of chromosomes, 2n).

Formed by the fusion of a sperm and egg.
Has 46 chromosomes in humans (23 from each parent).
 Describe the process of female and male gametes formation.

4.-Anatomy of the human reproductive system. Name the different structures and explain them
biological function.

1. FEMALE
2. MALE
5.- Complete the table with the changes that happen in puberty:

Girls Both Boys

6.- Draw two diagrams, one about obogenesis and other about spermatogenesis. In each
diagram you must write cell names and processes.

7.- Answer the questions:

- Why do sperm need nutrients?
- Where does fertilization take place in the female reproductive system? And gestation?
- What protects the testicles?

8.- Define the concepts:
