36 Ravi wanted to construct a cinema hall in his hometown. He wanted arrange seats in
such a manner that there are total 9 seats in the first row, 11 seats in second row, 13
seats in the third row and so on in same pattern.
One day Rashmi was observing an airplane. The angle of elevation the aeroplane from
a point P on the ground is 60°. 20 seconds later the angle of elevation changes to 30°.
It is assumed that the aeroplane was flying at a constant height of 3000 m, now answer
the following question.
(a) Draw a labeled figure on the basis of the given information. 1
(b) With the help figure drawn in the part (a) calculate the distance covered by the 1
plane during the period of observation.
