Crochet Pattern by Jamy Lyn Art
Hello! I am so excited for you to make your very own Baby Alien! Please read
through the pattern to familiarize yourself with the process. This pattern is
considered easy but if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me via Etsy,

Materials Abbreviations

• Premier Parfait Chunky yarn in


• R - round/row
Mint or Lime (60g) and Toffee
• MR - magic ring
(45g)
• ch - chain
• 5mm hook
• sk - skip

Rl: sc 6 in MR (6)

Flatten Head/Body and insert safety


eyes between Rds 11 & 12 on the front
of the Head with 6-7 visible sts
between. With Head/Body still flattened,
use your safety eyes as a guide to
make sure your last st of R25 is
centered. You may need to add or
remove a sc or 2 to get centered. You
should have 18 sts on each side of
center. Do not FO. Continue to Legs.

R1: ch 2. sk 18 sts. sc 18 (20)


R2: *sc 3, dee* x 4 (16)
R3: *sc 2, dee* x 4 (12)
R4: sc around (12)

Cut yarn, leaving a tail to close. Weave


Note: The purple tail in and out of remaining FLO, pull to
stitch marker (above) close. Stuff Head/Body and Leg 1. Hide
is where you'll attach end.

Leg 2

R1: Attach yarn with a standing sc to


the 1st skipped st of Leg Rl (back
center of Body), leaving a long tail you'll
use later to close the gap between the
Legs. sc in remaining 17 sts. ch 2 (20)
R2: *sc 3, dee* x 4 (16)
R3: *sc 2, dee* x 4 (12)
R4: sc around (12)

Cut yarn, leaving tail to close. Weave


tail in and out of remaining FLO, pull
to close. Use the gap between the
Legs to finish stuffing. Use the long tail
to sew the gapclosed. Hide all
remaining ends.

Do not stuff. Fold Arm in half. sc 4
across the top, going through both sides,
to close the Arm. FO, leaving a long tail
to sew to the Body.

Ears - make 2

AssemblY-

Sew the Arms to the Body over or


just above round 18.

Sew the Ears to the Head over


rounds 7-13, with about 4 sts
between the eye and the Ear.

Robe

Collar

Rl: ch 7. sc in 2nd ch from hook and


next 5 chs. (6)
R2: sc 6 on opposite side of the ch. sc
Collar after completed R2
6 into 6 scs from Rl. (12)
R3-39: sc around (12)

Do not stuff. Fold collar in half and sc 6


across top, going through both sides, to
close. Do not FO. Continue right into
the Body.

Body

Rl: (RS) Turn 90 degrees and sc 39


across the long edge of the Collar.
You'll be placing sts between rounds so
try to keep the Collar from twisting as
Body Rl - 1st st indicated you go. It will not be a perfect line so
with purple stitch marker do your best! (39)
R2: (WS) ch 2, turn. de across. (39)
R3: (RS) ch 2, turn. de 6, ch 4, sk 4 de,
de 19, ch 4, sk 4 de, de 6. (39)
R4-6: ch 2, turn. de across. (39)

FO. You'll end with a (WS) row.

Note: The ch4 sections in R3 count as sts. Make
sure you work into the chains in R4.

Sleeves

Rl: Join yarn to bottom of sleeve


opening on the (RS) with a standing
sc. sc 14 more sts around. sl st to first
sc to join. (15)
R2: ch 1. sc 15. sl st to first sc to join.

FO. Weave ends.

Repeat for second sleeve.

Closing the Robe

With the Robe on your Baby Alien,


attach yarn to the bottom front of the
opening with a standing sc through
both sides of the Robe. Continue
placing sc evenly up the entire Robe in
this manner. I made 17 sc here but
your st count may vary. FO. Weave
ends.

And you're done!
