Answer:

I came from a very large family, and recently my

parents decided that they would spend a long time in
Birningham. "We moved to the country,", my father
announced one evening. "I sold this house, and we
lived on a farm". So last week we loaded all our
possessions into two hired vans, and for the last few
days we tried to organize ourselves in our new home.
Yesterday, for example, my three brothers and I started
painting a room downstairs. Unfortunately, while I mixed
the paint, one of my sisters opened the door. Nobody
told her that we were in the room, you see. So instead of
painting the wall, we spent all morning cleaning paint off
the floor. But worse things have happened since then.
This morning when I woke up, water dripped through
the ceiling next to my bed. We spent today so far
repairing the roof. It is not all bad news. The school in
the village nearly closed down two years ago, and my
parents have not found another school for us yet.
