 WHAT IS FILTRATION:

FILTRATION is a process of separation of Solid Load available in Application Fluid, in which

the solid load might be in Suspended Form (TSS) OR Dissolved Form (TDS).

Application Fluid passes through

the filtration medium (Media /
Mesh), which holds the bigger size
particles on the directional surface,
and Filtrate passes through it.

Filtration occurs in Nature as well as

in Engineered Systems – Biological,
Geological OR Industrial Filtration.

Biological & Geological Filtration is

applicable to Dissolved Solids and
Chemical Properties.

Industrial Filtration, in which we are dealing, is useful for Suspended Solid removal through a
Positive Pressurized Mechanical Systems.

Application Fluid enters through the inlet connection to the main filter housing with more or
equal to 3 kg/cm² (g) …. recommended pressure, passes through the Filter Element – i.e. Filter
Cartridge / Basket Filter Element / Bag Filter Element / different designed of filter elements and
Filtrate leaves the Filter Housing through the Outlet End Connection.

As a Polishing Filter in Oil & Petro Chemical Industry

Application fluid with less quantity of available suspended solid load within and fine filtration

 HYDRAULIC, LUBRICATION & COOLANT OIL FILTRATION

Machining process needs coolant for smooth operation. Hydraulic, Lubricating or

Coolant Oil are useful for this cooling purpose, which are circulated during machining
process. Through circulation, these coolant oil is contaminated with material particles,
which should be filtered.

Contamination of Oil interferes with the four functions of hydraulic fluids:

1. To act as an energy transmission medium.
2. To lubricate internal moving parts of components.
3. To act as a heat transfer medium.
4. To seal clearances between moving parts.

 4. GT Air Intake Filter :

For protection of turbine and compressor blades, suction air has been filtered through a set of
Conical + Cylindrical filters are called GT Air in take Filters. Supported with inside and out side
Expanded Mesh + Pleated configuration of 100% Cellulose Paper OR blend of 80% Cellulose +
20% Synthetic Filter media are used.

 1. RISER / MESH FILTER :

To remove naked eye sized dust (25

Micron), these filters are useful.
Customized size in L x H with 12 mm and
25 mm Width, this filter is manufactured
with selection of HDPE, PVC, Nylon Mesh
in layers, Non Woven Media supported
with expanded mesh, Hyloft media with
mesh support, GI / SS Gr. Demister Pad.

2. AHU PANEL FILTER (PRE & FINE FILTERS) :

Cleanable and low cost Air filters are useful for

Pre Filtration of air. Supported with HDPE,
PVC, Nylon Mesh from one side with
Sandwiched layer of Non Woven media as per
Media Gr. OR Filtration requirement are
arranged in pleated configuration with GI, SS
Gr., Aluminum Expanded Mesh from another
side. Due to high filtration area these filters
provide Low Pressure Drop. Available in card
board frame to GI, SS Gr. And MS + Powder
Coating / Epoxy Coating for robust structure.
They are available with Box design and Flanged
design as well.

Panel filters are useful to remove the dust size of 10 micron to 1 micron at efficiency level of 90%
to 98%. Spun bonded polyester media is also useful for finer filtration requirement ≤ 1 micron.

3. HIGH EFFICIENCY PARTICULATE AIR (HEPA) & ULTRA LOW PARTICULATE

(ULPA) FILTER :

When Filtration Efficiency level requirement comes in the range of 99.99%, HEPA & ULPA
Filters are coming. High efficient Micro Glass Fiber media supported with Aluminum Foil / Glue
Separator are main construction of these filters.

 Available in standard sizes of 305 mm x 305 mm, 610
mm x 610 mm, 762 mm x 762 mm, 915 mm x 610 mm,
1220 mm x 610 mm and many more customized sizes
with respect to air flow, are available with 69 mm, 90
mm, 101mm, 150 mm and 300 mm depth.

These Highly Purified Air filters are widely used in

Pharmaceutical, Clean room and Hospital
applications. Due to presence of Micro Glass Fiber
media, they are useful to remove Oil and Moisture
content from the Air.

Frame design in Box type, Flange type are available

in SS Gr., Higher grade of Aluminum and Aluminum
section as well.

4. AHU POCKET / BAG FILTER :

Pocket Filters acts as a Pre Filters for HEPA Filters. However, fine filtration media can act
as a standalone filtration system also.

Pocket Filters have the delicate filtration

capacity to hold the particles at a very efficient
performance. Pocket Filters prevents the high
Pressure drop because of the multi-pocket
design. Also, high gauge galvanized frame
provides strong bonding with the filtration
pockets. Synthetic Fiber pockets are
ultrasonically sealed.

Spun bonded polyester layer support with

synthetic media in G4 to F9 gr. is available to
fulfil the filtration efficiency requirement in
customised sizes.

 5. CARBON PLEATED AIR FILTER :

Carbon media is folded in pleated

configuration, supported with wire mesh,
expanded mesh, rod support and then
assembled in a frame structure to form
the filter element.
This pleated filter media is assembled in
Galvanised Iron, Aluminum or
disposable Card Board Frame.
Different types of Carbon media –
Activated Carbon Foam, Carbon Fiber
Felt Media, Carbon + Non Woven media
in layers etc. are suitable to remove
odour from application.

Pleated Carbon Air Filter has various types and specifications. Standard depth of this filters are 50
mm and 100 mm with rectangle shape of 495 mm x 495 mm and 595 mm x 595 mm.

 AIR FILTER TESTING DUST:

We supply ISO 12103 Testing Dust, with different grades to be used in testing of Air Filter
Performance Test, Hydraulic Filter and Oil Filter Performance Test.

There are four grades of test dust designated under this specification (ISO 12103-1 A1 :
Ultrafine Test Dust, ISO 12103-1 A2 : Fine Test Dust, ISO 12103-1 A3 : Medium Test Dust,
and ISO 12103-1 A4 : Coarse Test Dust).
