Definition:
Training is the process of enhancing the skills, knowledge, and competencies of employees to
improve their performance and prepare them for more advanced tasks or roles within the
organization.

Importance of Training

the necessary tools to perform their jobs efficiently and effectively,
leading to higher productivity.

formats.

5. Mentoring and Coaching:


o Mentoring involves a more experienced employee (mentor)
guiding a less experienced one.
o Coaching is typically more short-term and focused on achieving
