What Does Strategy Looks Like? Nested Strategy

Every great strategy will have the fundamental 1,2,3 (1 paragraph, 2 points of view, 3 parts) however
a strategy can look different depending on where you work.

For this course, we need a common language and output for this course.

Remember the output doesn't matter so much as the fundamentals.

Strategy outputs are like clothes, frameworks and models come in and out of fashion. However the
fundamental role of clothes don't change and that's what you're going to learn.

So we're going to pick a model that I love, called the nested strategy approach.

Why Nested Strategy?

It takes its name after those nested dolls where inside every doll is a smaller doll.

In the nested strategy outside of the statement (the first sentence and last sentence) sits the
business problem and goal, inside that sits the consumer problem and goal and then inside of that
sits the insight and solution.
