According to the dictionary, honesty is sincerity and sincerity is honesty; honesty in Wikipedia is

a facet of moral character that connotes positive and virtuous qualities like integrity, truthfulness,
and straightforwardness, including straightforwardness; the Department of Education issued a
directive to post the quotation "Honesty is the best Policy" in every classroom so that this
character will be ingrained in the hearts of Filipino youths (Department of Education Memo No.
108, S. 2012).

In addition to the Department of Education, a number of institutions are making efforts to spread
the importance of honesty through various initiatives. One of these initiatives to promote honesty
among people in various regions of the Philippines, including in public schools, is the Honesty
Store, where clients obtain whatever they need from the store, write it in a book, and deposit
their money in a box.

270 eighth-grade students from Rosario National High School participated in the study as
responders. Students' honesty was assessed using an assessment questionnaire. The Panukat sa
Pagiging Matapat is this.

Pagiging matapat sa sarili, pagiging matapat sa pamilya, pagiging matapat sa kaibigan, pagiging
matapat sa kapwa, and pagiging matapat sa mga alituntunin at patakaran are its five components.
There are five (5) statements for each component to consider. The measure is made up of 25
items in total, each of which has a Likert scale score between 1 and 5.

The outcome demonstrates that there is a significant discrepancy between the official logged
sales and the actual revenue of the Honesty Store, as indicated by the t-values of 6.066 and 6.196
with 9 degrees of freedom and the variables having the same p-value of 0.001, which is less than
a 5% level of significance.
