WEEKLY WEATHER OUTLOOK


03-10 January 2025

Today until tomorrow (03–04 January), Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cloudy skies with rains over
Batanes and Babuyan Islands while Shear Line will continue to cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and
thunderstorms over the rest of Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon. The rest of the country
will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with localized rainshowers or thunderstorms.
From Sunday to Monday (05–06 January), cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over
Cagayan and Isabela due to Shear Line while the rest of Northeast Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies
with isolated light rains due to Amihan. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with localized
rainshowers or thunderstorms.
From Tuesday to Friday (07–10 January), the Shear Line is expected to move southward causing cloudy skies
with scattered rains and thunderstorms will over most of Visayas and eastern section of Mindanao. The rest of
Luzon is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Amihan while the rest of the
country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with localized rainshowers or thunderstorms.
No significant threat of tropical cyclone occurrence was noted throughout the forecast period.
This weather outlook will be updated should there be significant changes in the forecast scenario through the
issuance of 24-Hour Public Weather Forecasts and Weather Advisories.
