Good morning, Padada!
Welcome to the Padada District Athletic Meet 2025, where excellence, sportsmanship, and camaraderie come alive. Host 2: Magandang umaga sa inyong lahat! It’s a beautiful day to celebrate not just the talents of our athletes but the unifying spirit of our community. Host 1: Taking place here at the Padada Central Elementary School Grounds from January 8 to 10, this event promises to showcase the best of what our students, schools, and leaders have worked so hard for. Host 2: Today marks the beginning of an inspiring journey, one filled with determination, teamwork, and the pursuit of greatness. Host 1: Before we proceed, let us take this moment to acknowledge the dedication of our event organizers, delegation heads, officiating officials, and all our athletes and chaperones for making this meet possible. Host 2: Now, let’s officially begin the program and enjoy the events we have lined up for this unforgettable day! On behalf of the Padada Athletic Association, we extend our warmest welcome to everyone here. Host 1: To start, let us honor our country with the Salute to the Nation, to be led by Mr. Rex Referendo M. Cesar, Master Teacher II of Tulogan Elementary School. (Salute to the Nation takes place) Host 2: Thank you, Mr. Cesar. Please remain standing as we invoke the blessings of the Almighty for today’s activities. The invocation will be led by Mr. Edward L. Eghot, President of the District Athletic Association. (Invocation takes place) Host 1: Thank you, Mr. Eghot. You may now take your seats. To formally welcome us all to this momentous occasion, we call on Ms. Elene Marie Jane A. Gamboa, Co-Chairperson and Principal of Padada Central Elementary School, for her opening remarks. (Opening Remarks take place) Host 2: Thank you, Ms. Gamboa. Up next, we will witness the Presentation of Delegation Athletes, led by their respective delegation heads, followed by the Raising of Delegation Banners by our athletes. (Presentation of Delegation Athletes and Raising of Delegation Banners take place) Host 1: What a proud moment for all of us! To inspire us even more, let us hear a special message from Mr. Joveth Gabutero, our Division Sports Officer. (Message by Mr. Gabutero takes place) Host 2: Thank you, Mr. Gabutero. Up next is a message from the Honorable Mayor of Padada, Francisco L. Guerrero, Jr., LPT. (Message by Mayor Guerrero takes place) Host 1: Thank you, Mayor Guerrero. Now, we proceed to a meaningful segment of our program—the Lighting of the Athletic Friendship Urn. This will be led by Jethan Jade G. Cabalar, DAVRAA Player for Lawn Tennis. (Lighting of the Athletic Friendship Urn takes place) Host 2: Thank you, Jethan Jade. We now move to the Amateur Athletic Oath, which will also be led by Jethan Jade G. Cabalar, joined by an athlete from Padada Central Elementary School. (Amateur Athletic Oath takes place) Host 1: Thank you. To ensure that fairness and integrity guide our games, we will now have the Officiating Officials Oath, to be led by Mr. Noel C. Cabezas, DAVRAA Tournament Director for Sepak Takraw.
