Product Description
HP7022 is Low Density Polyethylene offering a unique combination of consistent processability,
flexibility and toughness. Articles manufactured from HP7022 exhibit excellent impact strength, low
shrinkage and good gloss.

Typical Applications
HP7022 is intended for producing flexible injection molded articles. It is particularly suited for
closures, caps, lids, houseware articles, toys and as base resin for masterbatch.

Processing Conditions
Typical molding conditions for HP7022 are:
Barrel temperature: 180 - 210°C (356 - 410°F)
Mold temperature: 20 - 40°C (70 - 104°F)

Storage and Handling


Polyethylene resin should be stored in a manner to prevent a direct exposure to sunlight and/or
heat. The storage area should also be dry and preferably don’t exceed 50°C. SABIC would not give
warranty to bad storage conditions which may lead to quality deterioration such as color change,
bad smell and inadequate product performance. It is advisable to process PE resin within 6 months
after delivery.
