DIRECT REPLENISHMENT
DIRECT REPLENISHMENT
In Direct replenishment, the replenishment of stock starts during a bin denial when an
exception code refers to the internal process code Replenishment. The system
calculates the replenishment in accordance with the maximum and minimum
quantity. Here it assumes that the quantity at the storage bin is zero. The system
rounds down the replenishment quantity to a multiple of the minimum replenishment
quantity.
Direct replenishment can be performed by the picker (picker-directed replenishment). In this
case, a warehouse task is displayed for the replenishment as the next item to be processed in
the picker’s warehouse order. As a prerequisite, the system must have found stock in the
permitted storage types. Picker-directed replenishment is only possible in radio frequency
scenarios.
CONFIGURATION STEPS:
1. Define Storage Type
2. Activate Replenishment Strategies in Storage Type.
3. Maintain Document / Item Category for Replenishment Warehouse Request.
4. Warehouse Process Type:
4.1 Define Warehouse Process Type.
4.2 Define Process Type Determination Indicator.
4.3 Determine Warehouse Process Type.
5. Picking Strategies:
5.1 Specify Storage Type Search Sequence.
5.2 Assign Storage Types.
5.3 Define Stock Removal Control Indicator.
5.4 Determine Storage Type Search Sequence.
6. Warehouse Process Type (Replenishment Strategies):
6.1 Define Warehouse Process Type.
6.2 Define Process Type Determination Indicator.
6.3 Determine Warehouse Process Type.
7. Picking Strategies (Replenishment Strategies):
7.1 Specify Storage Type Search Sequence.
7.2 Assign Storage Types.
7.3 Define Stock Removal Control Indicator.
7.4 Determine Storage Type Search Sequence.
Testing: (Scenario 2)
21. Activate Replenishment Strategies in Storage Type:
22. Create Material Master (T-Code: MM01)
23. Extension of Storage Location (T-code: MMSC)
24. Product Master (T-Code: /N/SCWM/MAT1)
25. Process Outbound Delivery (T-Code: /N/SCWM/PRDO): BPRP
26. Process Outbound Delivery (T-Code: /N/SCWM/PRDO): BFRP
8 REPLENISHMENT STRATEGIES:
6.1 Define Warehouse Process Type:
Path: SPRO -> REF IMG -> EWM -> Cross process setting -> Warehouse task -> Define
warehouse process type
7 Picking Strategies:
7.1 Specify Storage Type Search Sequence:
Path: SPRO -> REF IMG -> SCM EWM-> EWM -> GOODS ISSUE PROCESS ->
STRATEGIES -> SPECIFY STORAGE TYPE SEARCH SEQUENCE.
