1. PURPOSE

The procedure defines the steps that are necessary to ensure efficient communication are
communicated to the next shit when they come on duty and is aimed at preventing
misunderstandings when one shift takes over from a previous shift.

2. PROCESS.

2.1 Maintenance Beginning of Night shift.


2.1.1 The Production Controller must explain in detail the current maintenance status at beginning
of the shift to the maintenance taking over the shift.
2.1.2 List current maintenance status in detail below.

2.1.3 The Production Controller must explain in detail all tasks that must be performed by
maintenance during his shift.
2.1.4 List all tasks required to be performed in detail.

1. IF THERE IS WORK TO BE DONE FOR THE PRODUCTION SIDE TO PREVENT DELAYS


IN MANUFACTURING EXAMPLE- PIPE LEAK, PUMP BLOCKAGE, THIS WORK MUST
HAVE PRIORITY ABOVE THE TASKS SET OUT ON THIS FORM.
2. IF THE GENERATOR IS SWITCHED OFF IF THE POWER GOES OUT FOR A WHILE
START THE GENERATOR.
3. F2 fill line – Repair the lifting box to lift up the nozzles away from the conveyor.
4. F2 fill line capper on the up down cylinder put 2 x adjustable air fittings to control the
up down speed of the cylinder and remove the valve.
5. Put the quantity of bolts needed and also put bolt sizes I might have missed that we
need.
6. Fix the air pump under the FM1 plant its blocked with the product.

4.2.1 The maintenance chargehand must explain in detail the current production status at end of
his shift to the Production Controller taking over the shift.
4.2.2 List the current status in detail.
