This module provides basic knowledge in information technology and
fundamental skills in software package usage and introduces students to
information systems and their role in businesses.

15. Intended Learning Outcomes


On completion of this module the student should be able to:

b) Explain the role of hardware and software.
c) Identify the various categories of software and their usage.
d) Use various web tools including Web Browsers, Email clients and search
utilities.
