We are partnered with IrvinAero Aviation and Africa Aviation Academy (AAA), a fully registered and accredited

The ground school is conducted continuously throughout the year. The duration of the ground school is 12

By the time the students complete their O'Level or A'Level academic studies, they will also have written the pilot
ground school exams and will graduate and proceed to the next practical stage of their training.

Flight School (Flying Practicals)

The practical training will be conducted in South Africa, and consists of a minimum of 45 hours of flight training
lessons broken down as below:
✓ Minimum of 25 hours dual flight training with an instructor
✓ Minimum of 15 hours of solo flight training, including a minimum of five hours solo cross country navigation
flights
✓ Practical flight and navigation skills test

Upon successfully completing and passing both ground and practical training, the student becomes a qualified
private pilot and obtains a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and can proceed to do any other further training if
required.
