Objective:
To streamline the packing process, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency by implementing auto packing
with Packspec in EWM.
Challenges:
Manual Packing Errors: Manual packing can lead to mistakes, such as incorrect packaging materials or
improper packing methods.
Time-Consuming: Manual packing is labor-intensive and slows down the order fulfillment process.
Inconsistent Packing: Different packers may use different methods, leading to inconsistencies in how products
are packed.
Resource Utilization: Efficiently utilizing packaging materials and labor resources is crucial for cost savings.
Receive laptops quantity of Laptop in UOM EA from the vendor and update the inventory system with accurate quantities
and product details.
Level 1 (Primary Packing): Each laptop is placed and wrapped on Bubble Wrap Paper.
Level 2 (Secondary Packing): Individual Laptop are placed in a Carton Box and taped.
Level 3 (Tertiary Packing): Cartons Boxes are placed on a pallet, wrapped securely with shrink wrap or strapping to ensure
stability during transportation.
