This is a multi-functional unit with the following features: • Operates up to 12 devices. TV1/TV2/VCR1/VCR2/Satellite TV/Cable TV/VCD/DVD/CD/HiFi/AUX/Amplifier. • Operation models (4) are :- Set-up mode, Quick
search mode, Auto search mode, Display mode. • LED indicator for transmission and set-up. Setting up. If you are setting up an AV device please make sure that a tape or disk inserted. • Look in the BRAND CODE LIST to find the 3 digit code for device, brand name, and model. • Press and holdthe [SET] key, then press the device key e.g. [TV1][VCR]
[SAT] etc. • When the LED indicator lights up release both keys. • Input the 3 digit code for the device. The LED indicator will go off if the code number is correct. If the code is incorrect the LED will flash twice and remain in the set-up mode. Input another code from the BRAND CODE LIST. • If at any time you want to leave the set-up mode, press
the device key. The system will come out of the set-up model after 10 seconds if no other key is pressed. Quick Search If you are unable to find the correct code for your device in the BRAND CODE LIST, then you can use this procedure to search automatically for a code. Press and hold down the [SET] key, press the device key [TV1/VCR/etc.]. The
LED indicator will be on. Release the pressed keys. Press the [SET] key again and release it. The unit is now in Quick search mode, and the LED will keep flashing. The direction of searching can be changed by pressing the [SET] key. Point the control at the device you are setting up and press the [POWER] key. If the selected device operates, check
the rest of the functions such as [VOL], [CH+/-]. If the device cannot be controlled, repeat the instructions in this paragraph. To change the direction of search, press the [SET] key. To leave the search mode press the device key and the LED indicator will go off. Auto Search Power on the device to be controlled. If it is a VCR a tape must be inserted.
Press and hold [SET] key for more than 3 seconds and the Auto Search will begin. Press any key to exit. Display Mode To display the CONTROL CODE for a device. Press and hold down the [SET] key and press the digit you want to display (1,2 or 3) Release the [SET] key. Count the number of times the LED indicator flashes. The numbe r of times the
LED flashes is the digit number. If the LED does not flash then the digit number is zero. Additional information. When changing batteries do not press any keys.
