Ladies and Gentlemen, as we are about to begin, please be seated.

I have a few housekeeping notes to make


before we begin today’s program. I would like to seek your cooperation in completing this undertaking. Kindly switch
your phones to silent mode to avoid interruption. Thank you for your kind cooperation and attention.

To ensure we have a record of all our participants, let’s have a roll call.
To our esteemed resource speakers, to our ever active School Principal, Nicerato P. Gonzaga, to
our very supportive assistant School Principal, Sir Eladio H. Lego, Head Teachers, master teachers,
faculty and staff, students, friends , ladies & gentlemen, good morning. It is our pleasure to be the
moderator for this program. I am Ms. Christine Anne S. Mata and I am Ms. Jasmine Joy Torrefiel and on behalf of
Granja Kalinawan NHS Faculty, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of you. We appreciate you taking
your time off your busy schedules to join us today. We hope you will learn a lot today for we have lined-up topics for
this time to be fruitful and engaging for you.

Career guidance consists of services that help people successfully manage their career development. Career
development. Career development, an aspect of human development, is the process through which an individual’s
work identity emerges. Although it will occur on its own as you mature, you may benefit from getting assistance as
you navigate through this process, which can be quite confusing at times.

Many people seek out assistance from career development professionals only when they are trying to
choose a career for the first time or perhaps when they are going through a transition. The intent of career guidance,
however, is to provide support to individuals throughout their lives.

To start with, may I request everyone to please stand for the opening prayer, after which
is the singing of the national anthem, followed by singing of the DepED hymn.

To begin this program, we are pleased to have our School Principal, Sir Nicerato P.
Gonzaga Jr. to give his opening remarks. (a round of applause please)
Thank you Sir for that warm message.
Ma’am Jas, I am just wondering that if “Health is Wealth” why do so many people
ignore mental health?
Don’t worry ma’am Tin! Our first speaker is our very own school nurse, Ma’am Sharlyn
D. Gualdrapa, RN to give us an insight on Mental Health Awareness and Understanding.
Thank you so much ma’am Sharlyn for that very informative and timely information on
Mental Health.
Our program today would not be complete without the invaluable insights and
knowledge from our resource speaker from TESDA, please help me welcome Ma’am Amabelle
J. Baul, Senior TESD Specialist/Planning Officer Designate TESDA, Provincial Training Center-
Leyte to give us her talk about The TESDA and its Development Program for the Middle-Level
Manpower.
To break the ice, let’s welcome our very own talented students from Grade 12-
Champaca, Elton John Quintas and Ruth Gaspan to give us an intermission number.
Our next segment is poised to give a motivational talk and provide valuable insights
into the world of career. Let’s welcome Sir Sherwin Diano, President/Owner of Abuyog
Institute of Technology Inc. Abuyog, Leyte. Let’s welcome him with a big round of applause.
To express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to our resource speakers, may I call
on our School Principal, Sir Nicerato P. Gonzaga Jr., our Assistant School Principal Sir Eladio H.
Lego and Ma’am Rowena D. Navarra to present the Certificate of Recognition and token to our
esteemed resource speakers. Please allow me to read the content of certificate.

As we approach the conclusion of this enlightening program, let us hear some closing
remarks from our Assistant School Principal Sir Eladio H. Lego. (a round of applause please)

With this, thank you to all our speakers, participants, and organizers for making this
Career Guidance Program a success. We hope you leave here today with valuable insights
