Driver Booking

Abstract:

"Driver Booking" is a comprehensive platform designed to facilitate and

enhance the process of booking drivers. The system is structured into three
main modules: Admin, Driver, and User, each providing specific
functionalities tailored to their roles. The Admin module equips
administrators with the necessary tools to manage the platform efficiently.
Administrators can log in to view details of drivers and users, add reasons
for rejecting driver applications, view bookings, and review feedback. They
also have the authority to approve driver registrations, ensuring only
qualified drivers are part of the system. The Driver module is designed for
drivers, allowing them to register and log in to the platform. Drivers can
view their bookings and feedback from users, as well as manage their
profiles, enabling them to keep track of their activities and maintain a good
service record. The User module caters to customers seeking driver
services. Users can register and log in to the platform, search for drivers by
their ID, and view available drivers. They can also add feedback, view and
make payments, and access receipts for their transactions. Additionally,
users can manage their profiles, ensuring their information is up-to-date
and accurate. Overall, "Driver Booking" aims to streamline the process of
booking drivers, improve communication between drivers and users, and
provide a user-friendly interface for administrators, drivers, and users.

EXISTING SYSTEM

The current system for booking drivers is often fragmented and relies on
manual processes or separate applications. Users typically book drivers
through phone calls, in-person requests, or disparate online platforms,
leading to inefficiencies and communication gaps. Administrators may
struggle to manage driver and user information, as well as bookings, due to
the lack of a centralized platform. Drivers often have to manage their
bookings and feedback through multiple channels, making it difficult to
maintain an organized record of their activities. Users face challenges in

finding reliable drivers, making payments, and accessing receipts in a

streamlined manner. Overall, the existing system is characterized by
inefficiencies, a lack of centralized management, and poor communication
among stakeholders.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

"Driver Booking" introduces a comprehensive and integrated platform

designed to streamline the process of booking drivers. The system is divided
into three main modules: Admin, Driver, and User, each tailored to enhance
efficiency and communication. The Admin module equips administrators
with tools to manage the platform effectively. Administrators can log in to
view driver and user details, add reasons for rejecting driver applications,
view bookings, and review feedback. They also have the authority to
approve driver registrations, ensuring only qualified drivers are included in
the system. The Driver module is designed for drivers, allowing them to
register and log in to the platform. Drivers can view their bookings and
feedback from users, as well as manage their profiles. This centralized
approach helps drivers keep track of their activities and maintain a good
service record.
Overall, the proposed "Driver Booking" system aims to
streamline the booking process, improve communication between drivers
and users, and provide a user-friendly interface for administrators, drivers,
and users, addressing the inefficiencies and communication gaps present in
the existing system.
