ABSTRACT
The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare has revolutionized patient care by
enabling real-time health monitoring, remote patient management, and personalized treatment.
IoT-based health monitoring systems leverage wearable devices, sensors, and cloud
technologies to collect, process, and transmit vital health data, offering numerous benefits
such as improved patient outcomes, cost reductions, and enhanced healthcare efficiency.
However, the widespread adoption of IoT in healthcare also presents several challenges,
including data security and privacy concerns, interoperability issues, and the need for reliable
connectivity and power-efficient devices.
This report explores the key opportunities that IoT brings to health monitoring, such as early
disease detection, chronic disease management, and personalized healthcare models. It also
addresses the challenges healthcare providers face in implementing these systems and discusses
potential solutions.
Additionally, the report looks at the future trends in IoT healthcare, including the role of
artificial intelligence, 5G technology, and smart wearables. The findings aim to provide insights
into the current landscape of IoT health monitoring and suggest pathways for overcoming
barriers to its broader adoption and integration in healthcare systems.
This seminar will delve into the opportunities and challenges of IoT-based health monitoring
systems, providing a detailed exploration of how these systems are transforming healthcare.
Participants will gain insights into the potential benefits of IoT, including improved patient
outcomes, cost reduction, and personalized care.
The session will also address the hurdles that need to be overcome, such as data management,
security, and system interoperability. Finally, the discussion will highlight the future trends in
IoT-enabled healthcare, including the integration of AI, big data analytics, and the Internet of
Medical Things (IoMT), which will continue to revolutionize the healthcare landscape
