& Renewable energy. 1GW capacity wind power project to be setup in Gujrat & Tamil Nadu
• 1st airport in the country to launch “Fast-Track Immigration Trusted Traveller Program (FTI-TTP)” is IGI
airport by home ministry. To make easy travel for Indian passport holders & overseas citizen of India through
online portal.
• Election commission has launched “Myth vs Reality platform” at Nirvachan Sadan (New Delhi). To prevent
spread of misinformation during Lok Sabha election 2024.
• Indian govt has launched “CDP-SURAKSHA portal” for horticulture farmers. Full form- System for Unified
Resources Allocation Knowledge and Secure Horticulture Assistance.
• Union minister Kishan Reddy launched “construction portal” to assist UPSC aspirants (It is related to Mission
Karmayogi launched by PM). SC, ST, Women, or 3rd Gender candidate whose annual family income < 8lakh will
be given Rs1lakh.
• “Project ASMITA” is launched by ministry of education. Full form- Augmenting Study Material for Indian
languages through Translation and Academic Writing. Aims to produce 1000 books in 22 languages within 5
years.
• Under modified “Model skill loan scheme”, a loan of 7.5lakh will be given. Launched on 25th July by MSDE.
• “Ideas4LiFE” portal is launched by Bhupender Yadav (Union minister of environment, forest and climate
change).
• For “UNNATI scheme-2024”, Rs10,037crore has been allocated for 10 years. For north-east industrialization
transformation.
• Cabinet approved “PM-Surya Ghar Free Electricity scheme” and allocated Rs 75,021crore to install solar
rooftop panels in 1crore houses with 300units free electricity.
• Defence minister launched “Aditi Scheme” during Defconnect 2024 in New Delhi and allocated 750crore. 1st
phase is started for 2years, new startups in defence will be given financial assistance upto Rs25crore
• Under “e-Kisan Upaj Nidhi scheme” loans will be given at interest rate of 7%, on the products of farmers
kept in warehouse. By food & consumer affairs minister Piyush Goyal.
• “Revised Drug Technology Upgradation Assistance Scheme (RPTUAS)” is launched by ministry of chemical
and fertilizers. Subsidy will be given to setup pharma industry & manage their security.
• “Ladakh” has become fully literate state/UT under ULLAS-Nav Bharat Saaksharta Program, implemented for
a period 2022-27. To empower illiterate adults of age ≥ 15yr.
• “PM Suraj National Portal” was launched by PM Modi on 13 March 2024, to provide loan/financial help
through banks, non-banking financial companies etc upto 15lakh.
• “National green hydrogen mission” was approved in January 2023, and allocated Rs19,744crore, announced
by Finance minister in 2021 budget. Under ministry of New & Renewable energy. To obtain hydrogen from
clean source. Target- 450GW for 2030.
• Under “National quantum mission” in April 2023, central govt has allocated Rs6003.65crore for period 2023-
24 to 2030-31.
• “Technology Development Fund (TDF)” scheme is associated with DRDO, to strengthen & make self-reliant
the military-industrial ecosystem.
• “DoPT a Heritage scheme” was launched by central govt in 2017.
• The invoice incentive scheme “My Bill My Right” launched on 1st Sept 2023.
