2. No Vulgarity in the content of the poem.

3. The poem can be in Hindi or English

Extempore Competition

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The speech is intended to reveal a competitor’s ability to develop a


point of view on a general topic and to deliver an impromptu speech
within the given time limit.
2. Each participant will be given 5 minutes to speak on an extempore
topic picked up by him or her.

3. Students will have to select any one topic from the given list of
topics.
4. He/she will be given 2 minutes before the speech to think over the
topic.
5. Certificates will be given to all participants.
6. The participant has to speak only in English.
7. Maximum time limit to think over the topic will be 2 minutes and
the maximum time for speech will be 5 minutes
8. The participant will be allowed to select the topic once only.
9. Participants will not be allowed to take any paper or material with
him or her during the speech.

Prize: Attractive cash prize


Debate Competition

Registration Fees: Rs.50/-

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Each participant will be given a maximum of 10 minutes to speak


either in favor or against the subject.

2. A warning bell will be given after 8 minutes and a final bell after 10
minutes.
3. If the participant exceeds the allocated time then the marks will be
deducted at the discretion of the judges.
4. Marks may be awarded as per the following criteria out of the marks
allocated against each category.

5. The average of the marks awarded by all judges should be
calculated. The average marks thus calculated shall be the final score
for a particular Candidate based on which whoever has scored the
highest will be declared winner & second highest scorer will be
declared as runner-up of the event.
GK Quiz

Registration Fees: Rs.50/-

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. This event will be based on “General knowledge”.


2. There will be 6 sections, each having equal questions from the
topics mentioned:
 Current affairs
 Sports
 Geography and history
 Entertainment
 Logical and brainteasers
 Science and technology
3. Fifty multiple-choice questions will be there from the above topic.
4. The time of attending the quiz will be 1 hour.
5. Participants can be from any field.
6. The top 2 winners will be awarded the attractive cash prize.
7. A participation certificate will be given to all participants.
Essay Writing (English or Hindi) competition

Registration Fees: Rs.50/

RULES AND REGULATIONS

 Time allotted-60 minutes only for writing the essay. Sheets for writing
will be provided by the college.

 Maximum word limit – 1000 words.

 The essay should be the original work and not be copied from anywhere.

 The first two winners will be awarded.

 Participation certificate will be given to all the participants.

 Prior intimation regarding participation is a must. Intimation can be sent


only through email and phone.

 The decision of the Judge shall be final & binding on all the participants.
Mimicry

Registration Fees: Rs.50/-

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Participants will be given a maximum time limit of 4-5 minutes

2. No Vulgarity in the content of the Mimicry.

3. The Mimicry can be in Hindi, English, or any other Bhartiya Bhasha
