SCOPE

1 Methodology/plans to carry out that item of work/activity in accordance with the specifications.
Sequence willbe followed for Dismantling, Transport and stock the abandoned Building material.

2 WORK PROCEDURE
Initially isolation of power connection must be ensured.
Area illumination must be ensured.
Hard barricade to be used before dismantling.
Area housekeeping to be ensured before starting of job.
Access platform as required to be ensured its durability and workability.
Hand tools and tackles are to be ensured for its use.
Job awareness to be givento the workers during tool box talk
Removalof rivets, screws, nails and any other connecting bodies in the sandwich panels (partition
walls).
Separation of panel from another member/ adjacent panel manually.
Stacking in a safe place and ensure safe condition.
After complete removal of wallpanels, removal of screws, nailsand any other connecting bodies
with roof panels.
Displacement of roof panels and stacking in the same manner as wall panels
with
Position hydra/ crane to arrest roof truss member then Cut the purlins, truss members etc.

Displacement of the separated member and stock in a safe place.
Separation of column as the same manner of trusses & Purlins and stock in a safe place
Loading the structural member to the vehicle and transport to unloading area.
Unloading to the defined location and place safely to stock.

Dismantling, displacement, stock and transport plan components

Once the evaluation process has determined the type of removal and lifting plan needed, need to
identify and gather information on the following components:

* Tools & Tackles used with SWL and numbers.

Asses the weight to be lifted.
Center of gravity to be marked on the load to be lifted.
Chain blocks/ wire rope/ slings,DE shackle, Crane capacity and crane / load charts checking to
be ensured.
3 Height, width, and length of the lift.
Atmospheric and environmental conditions to be checked when the process is being performed.
<* Edges andcorners of the load. Iit is important to evaluate allthe geometry of the item being
lifted.
Ensure correct sling angles.
Ensure correct load factor.
Ensure correct floor loading capacity.
<o ldentify and make sure that the attachment points and load can withstand the forces created by
the rigging attachment.
Work zone safety and height restriction from live current wire or structure (if any)
Evaluate hazards to determine consequences resulting from a collision, upset, or dropping the
load

Dismantling, displacement, stock and transport plan execution

Once the plan has been established, need to follow it closely to reduce the probability of an accident. It
is important to

Verify all equipment, fixtures, and accessories before starting

Verifythat all equipment has been properly inspected and that such inspections are valid.
ldentify a load manager or arigging leader. It can be your safety professional or ordinary lifts,
assign adesignated leader; for critical lifts, asign a person-in-Charge (PIC)

Conductapre-use inspection and verify that all components are in good condition.
Conduct a dummy rigging process following the pre-established rigging plan.
Be sure to identify and train all workers participating in the process.
Clear or prepare the area where the load is being dismantled or moved
Survey the lift site for hazardous or unsafe conditions
Clear lift path of obstructions
Identify the crane operators, drivers and other operators if any involved in the work process.
Follow specific instructions/procedures for attachment of the rigging gear to the load. Use
proper rigging techniques.
Stop the job when any potentially unsafe condition is recognized.

5 INSPECTION AND DOCUMENTS TO BE CHECKED as relevant to the activities e.g, TPIcertificate,

load test, physical fitness of the persons involved, PTW, JSA etc.

6 RESPONSIBILITY

* Project Manager/ Construction Manager:

Shall be responsible for providing resources to implement this procedure. Shall be responsible for
control supervision and direction for implementation and execution of construction plans.
Execution Engineer / In charge:
Shallreport to Project Manager. Shall be responsible for overall control of safety management and
for the implementation of this procedure. Generate reports &records during the activity.
Surveyor:
Shall report to Project Manager. Shallbe responsible for overall control of survey activities and for
the implementation of this procedure. Established control point & measure line & level of all
construction. Generate reports & records during the activity.
QA/OCEngineer/ In charge:
Shall report to Project Manager. Shall be responsible for overall control of QC activities,
implementation of QAP. Shall be responsible for calibration of all measuring and testing instruments.
Ensure proper implementation of this procedure. Check and verify the activity. Shallverifies and
countersign all the test reports and formats.
Plant &Machinery In charge:
Shallreport to Project Manager. Shallmake necessary arrangement for Plant &Machinery, Operators
and drivers required for rescue of the activity. Arrange llumination as required to execute of the
activity.
Storekeeper:
Shall report toProject Manager. If required, shall arrange necessary materials like tools &tackles to
implementation of this activity, shall assist engineer or area in-charge.
EHS In-charge/ Engineer:
