The company does not present procedure(s) describing how the calibration/verification of the

monitoring and measuring equipment used is managed.

Calibration and Verification Procedure

1. Purpose
This procedure establishes the process for managing the calibration and verification of
monitoring and measuring equipment to ensure accurate, reliable, and traceable
measurements during the project lifecycle.

2. Scope
This procedure applies to all monitoring and measuring equipment used in the construction
project, including but not limited to environmental sensors, electrical testers, torque
wrenches, and structural measurement tools.

3. Definitions
- **Calibration:** The process of comparing equipment performance against recognized
standards and adjusting if necessary.
- **Verification:** The process of checking equipment performance without adjustment to
confirm it meets required standards.
- **Traceability:** The ability to link equipment calibration to national or international
standards.

4. Calibration and Verification Process

4.1 Equipment Identification

1. Label all monitoring and measuring equipment with a unique identifier (e.g., serial
number).
2. Maintain an inventory list of all equipment in a Calibration Register.

4.2 Schedule
1. Establish calibration intervals based on:
- Manufacturer recommendations.
- Frequency of use.
- Project-specific requirements.
2. Create and maintain a calibration schedule.

4.3 Calibration Procedure

1. Submit equipment to an accredited laboratory or internal calibration team.
2. Ensure calibration is traceable to national or international standards (e.g., ISO/IEC
17025).
3. Obtain a calibration certificate, including:
- Equipment details.
- Calibration date.
- Results (pass/fail).
- Next calibration due date.

4.4 Verification Procedure

1. Perform on-site verification when full calibration is not required.
2. Use reference standards or benchmarks for verification.
3. Document verification results, including any deviations.

4.5 Acceptance Criteria

1. Equipment must meet specified tolerances outlined in the Calibration Register.
2. Any equipment failing calibration must be:
- Tagged as 'Out of Service.'
- Investigated for potential impact on previous measurements.

5. Recordkeeping
- Maintain the following records:
- Calibration Certificates.
- Verification Reports.
- Calibration Register.
- Records should be retained for at least the duration of the project.

6. Nonconformance Management
1. Identify and isolate nonconforming equipment.
2. Notify relevant stakeholders of potential measurement inaccuracies.
3. Recalibrate or replace equipment as necessary.
