the normal or away from the normal? Why?
3. Name the type of mirror used in the following situations and state reason for your
answer:
a. Headlight of a car.
b. Rear view mirror of a vehicle.
4. One half of a convex lens is covered with a black paper. Will this lens produce a complete
image of the object ?
5. The magnification produced by a plane mirror is +1. What does this mean?
6. If the aperture of a concave mirror is large then what happens to the image?
7. What is meant by aperture of spherical lens?
8. State Snell’s Law.
