BMOBundle
BMOBundle
Yarn: Acrylic bulky weight 5 ply yarn for body and acrylic worsted weight 4 ply yarn for
other parts – Red Heart Super saver and Bulky super saver like yarns.
Aruba sea (bulky and worsted), honeydew (worsted), light blue (worsted), blue
(worsted), red (worsted), yellow (worsted), green (worsted), teal (bulky), black
(worsted).
/!\ Since it’s sometime difficult to find the right color in bulky and worsted weight yarn,
it’s ok to use two threads, crocheted as one, of an acrylic worsted weight 4 ply yarn
instead. But you may then need to adapt your work if something looks too big or small.
Needles: Size: H/8 & C/2 (5.0 mm & 3.0mm) crochet hooks
Supplies: Safety eyes (0.6 inch), polyester fiberfill stuffing, tapestry needle
Round 1 when using a Yarn Ring: Leaving a tail, wrap yarn around your finger twice.
Insert hook under both yarn rings and hook your tread. Pull it and chain 1. Insert hook
again under both yarn rings and hook your tread. Pull it and Sc 1. Then work the first
round of Sc into the ring. When done, pull on the non-working tail of the yarn to tighten
the hole.
Abbreviations:
Ch = Chain
Sl = Slip stitch
Sc = Single Crochet
½ Dc = ½ Double Crochet

Directions:
The pieces which are started from a Yarn Ring are worked in rounds. Meaning each
time a row is done, you won’t have to make a U turn. You’ll just keep going forward.
Ending a round piece with a slip stitch (Sl) will facilitate sewing steps, but it’s not
mandatory.
The finished body part must be turned inside out before stuffing in order to present the V
side out (and not the π side).

Pause the work here and do the below part before resuming:

Assembly:
Sew “Face A” and the body side piece together stiches to stiches. Start from the middle
of the bottom side and when reaching a corner, use a stitch more from “Face A” to
make a smooth turn.
Set the safety eyes on the face, slightly above the middle,
16 stiches apart. Embroider the smiling mouth with a black
cotton thread (you can use some thin sewing black thread
to keep it set in place).
6
On “Face B”, with the teal yarn color, embroider a rectangle
(14 rows per 18 stiches) 6 stitches from the left and right border,
8 rows above the break line of the bottom of “Face B”.
Embroider a knot dot inside each corner of that square (2 rows
& 2 stiches from the line).
Embroider 7 knot dots above the B using teal yarn color. Use needles to
help align the dots emplacements.
Attach the legs under the body, 3 stitches away from each side, leaving
4 rows before the break with “Front A”.

BMO pattern
This document is made of photos of the assembly steps described in the pattern.
I made them using a different colored yarn so the BMO here is pink (and I had to adapt
the screen piece to accommodate the pink yarn size). But the assembly principle stays
the same.
