 IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. STUDY CENTRES
A. Ranchi Centre:
Group I (Fully Sponsored by CCL): 11 Male students and 11 Female students will be selected from Land
Outsees/Villagers within 25 kms of the command areas of CCL/children of Wage Board employees of CCL who will be
provided free of cost boarding, lodging, schooling and coaching at Ranchi Centre. However, the number of children of
employees will not exceed 6 (3 Males and 3 Females). Annual Income of Parents should be less than equal to Rs. 6,
00,000.00.
Group II Group II (Open Group): 8 male and 8 female students will be selected from all over the state of Jharkhand. Only free
coaching and residential facility at hostel will be provided for these students by CCL. All other expenses related to
schooling and fooding will be borne by students themselves. No Income Criteria for Group II.

B. Video Conferencing (VC)Coaching Centres:

Three Coaching Centres of 50 seats each are set-up wherein classes are conducted through Video Conferencing. These
centres has been established in CCL Command areas:
 DAV Public School NTS Barkakana , Barka-Sayal Area,
 Central School, Dakra, NK Area
 DAV Public School, Dhori Area.

2. IMPORTANT DATES AND FILLING PROCESS:

Forms along with the information brochure can be downloaded from Company’s Official Website
www.centralcoalfields.in and will also be available at GM’s Office of all areas/projects/units of CCL (Argada,
BarkaSayal, B&K Area, CRS Barkakana, Dhori, Kuju, Charhi, Rajrappa, Kathara, NK Area, Magadh & Amrapali,
Piparwar, Rajhara and Central Hospital Naisarai) and SD & CSR Department, CCL Ranchi.

Start Date to fill up Application Form 19.11.2018 onwards.

Last Date for Form Submission at Area/Projects/HQ Office, CCL (Till 5 p.m.)
Entrance Examination February 2019 (date will be announced later)
3.TEST PATTERN AND SYLLABUS
A. Entrance Test (Multiple Choice Questions based) will be conducted in first week of Feb 2019. The answer sheet
will be OMR based.
B. Syllabus:
1. General Aptitude& Reasoning
2. Physics: Motion, Force, Work, Energy and Power, Gravitation, Waves, Electric current, Magnetic effects of
electric current, Reflection &Refraction of light, Human Eye and its defects, Optical Instruments.
3. Chemistry: Mole concept, Structure of Atoms, States of Matter, Chemical reactions, Sources of energy, Carbon
compounds, Periodic classification of elements, Acids, bases and salts, Metals and Non metals.
4. Mathematics: Real Numbers, Polynomials, Pair of Linear Equation in Two Variables, Triangles, Trigonometry
&Trigonometric Identities, Statistics, Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Circles, Heights and
Distances, Probability, Lines, Surface Areas and Volumes.
4. In addition to Point 1, final merit list will be published only for those candidates who have secured at least 80%
in CBSE/ICSE Board and at least 70% aggregate for JAC Board in Class 10 th Board for Group I and II
and at least 60% aggregate for CBSE/ICSE/JAC Boards for VC Centres.
5. The final shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a medical fitness test at CCL, after being declared medically
fit the candidate will be enrolled in the scheme.
Note:
i) Filling this form does not guarantee admission in CCL KE LAL & CCL KI LAADLI. Final Selection will be based on
marks in Entrance Test, verification of documents and fulfilment of other criteria as per the scheme.
ii) Incomplete admission form will not be accepted.
iii) In case both parents of the candidate are not alive, he/she is required to produce relevant documents for verification by
PO/SO (P & A)/SO (P & P) and submit application through guardian/representative.

v) Photograph on the admit card must also be attested by signature/stamp by the receiving officer and Roll No. shall be
coded as: Area Code/Serial No. of the Form in four digits For Kuju Form e.g. 17 (Kuju Code) followed by the serial no. of the
form i.e. 001 which will be 17001, 17002 and so on for each of the Respective Areas are as follows :
