Login into HomeBuddy application

Parents can login into the system by using the HomeBuddy Learning Ecosystem application
by clicking on the below universal link:

Steps to follow to access the HomeBuddy application.
1. Install and open the HomeBuddy application over your mobile device by using
universal link.

2. You will see the Login screen for HomeBuddy application, as shown below.
1. To login as a student/parent, select the icon as shown below and enter the
login credentials – Registered Mobile Number and Password.
The password is already shared with parents in the Welcome email sent to their
registered email address.

2. Once the login credentials are verified, the parent will be successfully logged in into
the HomeBuddy application.
Forgot your password

In case the parent has forgotten his/her password, they can follow below steps to reset their
password.

1. On the Login screen, select the icon as shown below.

2. Select option available on the screen.


3. On selection of , parent will be navigated to “Reset Password” screen,
as shown below.
On “Reset Password” screen, the parent needs to enter his/her registered Mobile
Number, and select .

4. On selection of , the parent will be navigated to below


screen, where he/she needs to enter the OTP received on his/her registered Mobile
Number.
o Select once done.
o Select if the OTP is not received, and need to be resent.

5. After OTP verification, parent will be successfully logged in into the HomeBuddy
application.
Welcome Video

On first successful login every day, a welcome/introductory video will be automatically played
to student/parent.
Please note that this video will be played only once a day, after the first-login of the day.

Parent/student can:
 Close the video by selecting
 Maximize the video to play in full-screen mode
 Pause/play/replay the video
 Mute/unmute the video sound

Student Homepage

Student Homepage, as shown below, is first screen visible to the student after login.

Student can select any icon as (Play, See, and Do, Today Schedule) as desired.
“Play” section

“Play” section has the

 FunZone - FunZone has games that challenges the mind and checks on the level of
understanding on the topic.

Example of the Quiz in the FunZone:

A timer and progress-tracker to track the duration spent on activity.

Submit/Next/Back buttons to navigate between questions of the quiz.

On quiz completion, a final evaluation rating (maximum 3 stars) is provided to the


student, as shown below.
 Audio Visual Videos - Animated audio visual videos that helps in reinforcing the topics
introduced at schools.

1. Student can select any activity card to play the video.

2. The video player opens, as shown below.

3. Student can change the video by selecting any other video from the list available
on the bottom.
 Story –
1. Student can click on any story card to start the story

2. The story opens, as shown below.


 Picture Talk –
1. Student can click on any picture talk card to start the picture talk.

2. The picture talks opens, as shown below.


“See” section

“See” section has the teacher’s videos that are related to the topics in Mind, Body
and Soul.

The videos are categorized under:

 Mind
 Body
 Soul

1. Student can select any activity card to play the video.

2. The video player opens, as shown below.


3. Student can change the video by selecting any other video from the list available on
the right-panel.

“Do” section

“Do” section has all the assignments/activities assigned for constructive


engagement.
“Do” section can be used to see all the assignments/activities assigned to the student for
their learning.
The assignments for the students are categorized under:

 Worksheets
 DIY
 Take Away
 HomeConnect
1. Student can select on any activity card to view the corresponding assignment.
2. On selection, the assignment opens in the application, as shown below.
Students can refer the following details for the assignment:

 Status of the assignment – Due/Submitted


 Day of the assignment due
 Theme of the assignment
 No of pages in the assignment

Other options available for assignments:

Other options available is , to view the assignment in full-screen mode.


In view-mode, additional option is available to download the assignment as a PDF.

1. Student can view all the activities for the current week as Activity-Cards, as shown
below, highlighting following details:
 Subject for the activity
 Day assigned for the activity
 Title of the activity

2. Student can attempt/play any activity by selecting the corresponding activity-card.


3. Student can change the Theme and select the curriculum for previous weeks by

selecting the button.


On selection, student can select any theme from past weeks to see the activities
under the theme – Select the theme.

Under the theme, select the week for which the student wants to see the
content/activities.
4. Select to view all the activities assigned for the theme and week.
By default, the Play area only shows 2-3 activities.

“Today Schedule” section

“Today Schedule” section has all the Play, Do and See activities
assigned to the students for the current day.
“Today Schedule” section can provide a consolidated view all the assignments for the day.
The assignments for the students are categorized under:

 Play
 See
 Do

3. Student can view the count and list of all the assignments for the current day.
4. Student can view all the activities for the current day as Activity-Cards, same as
Play/See/Do sections.

5. Student can attempt/play any activity by selecting the corresponding activity-card.

6. Student can change the Day to any other day of the current week, and corresponding
assignment list for the day will be available.

Under the “Day” list, select the day of the week for which the student wants to see
the content/activities.
Parents – Security Question and Menu

“Profile” icon available on the Student Homepage allows the parents to access the
parent-specific features of the application.
Note that access to this menu has a child-lock in place, where the user must successfully
answer a security question to access the menu.

Parents can access the menu and underlying features using the following steps:
1. On the Student Dashboard, select the icon , available at top-right corner of the
screen.

2. The “Verify” screen will open, where parents need to answer the Security Question to
gain access to the menu.

3. On successfully answering the Security Question, parent will gain access to menu as
shown below.

Following features are available on parent’s menu:


1. Student Profile: Access profile of the student using the icon for profile.
2. My Day@Eurokids: Track the daily learning activities planned for students.

3. Analytics: Track progress of the activities/assignment for the students.

4. Help menu: Access the FAQs and their responses for the parents.

5. Logout option: Logout from the application.


Student Profile

Student Profile can be accessed from the Parent menu, on selection of the Student-Profile

icon, as shown here -

Student Profile provides the basic information of the student(s) and the Parent’s contact
details.

Additional option available is to change the Profile and Cover image of the student by
selecting the icon.
Help - FAQs

Help section is available for parents to refer the FAQs w.r.t. the features available on the
application.
This section can be accessed on selection of the corresponding icon available on the parent’s

menu, as shown here -


My Day@Eurokids

Parents can track the activities/learnings for their children on daily-basis, using the “My
Day@Eurokids” section.
This section can be accessed on selection of the corresponding icon available on the parent’s

menu, as shown here -

Parents can change the Theme, Week and Day using the available filters to access the activity
list planned for students on a past date.
Analytics

Parents can track the progress of the assignments/activities for their children on daily-basis,
using the “Analytics” section.
This section can be accessed on selection of the corresponding icon available on the parent’s

menu, as shown here -

Parents can track the progress for their children under a particular section (Play/See/Do),
activity-type (Funzone, Worksheets etc.), or subject (Language & Literacy, Mathematics).
Daily LO Tracker

As a parent, you can see the analytics for Learning Outcomes for your children so that the
parents can refer to the learning summary for the children.

Steps:
1. Log in as a parent
2. Go to the parent menu
3. Click on the ‘Learning Objective’ tab.

On this page, you can see the color star as per the fun zone performance. If your child has
not completed the funzone, stars will appear blank.
Force Reset Password

While login for the first time into the system, the system will force you to reset your
password.

Steps:

1. Login into the account as a new user.


2. Reset password screen will be visible to the user as shown below.
Class Memories

As a parent, you can see the Class memories for your children, so that parents can refer those
memories via the application.
Class memories created by the teacher will be visible for the parent.
Siblings Scenario

As a parent, I can switch between the profiles of my children via single login.

Steps:

1. Parents attempt to login via HB System Login screen.


2. Parent enters the registered Mobile Number on login screen, and
3. Press Arrow key

System will showcase all the available profiles associated with the Mobile Number as shown
above.
In case of multiple profiles, the Profile picture & Profile Name will be loaded for all the
associated student profiles. Users can select a particular student profile to proceed.

Profile switch on Parent Menu:


On Parent Menu, user will have the option of switching the active student profile
The active profile will be explicitly visible to the user as the highlighted option as shown
below.
Two way Communication
As a parent, you can raise service requests for leave application, Bonafide certificate issue,
change of contact details, teacher meeting request, pick up/drop request, and lost and found
request. Franchise admins will receive those requests and can close them upon taking
appropriate actions.
Steps:
1. Select “School Connect” where parent can view the request history under Service
History .
2. Click on Create Request button and select the type of request from drop down
3. Fill the service request form and click on send.
4. To view the sent request, click on View button on the Service History page.
Special Instructions
As a parent, you can see the request sent by the admin, where the parent need to respond to
the consent by either accepting or rejecting it within the due date.
Steps:
1. Click on ‘Parent Corner’ and answer the security question and click on proceed.
2. Then click on ‘Notifications’ from the menu
3. In the info tab, parent can view the special instructions/consent notification, due date
to respond (if any) and can either accept or reject the same by clicking on
Accept/Reject button within the displayed due date.
4. As soon as the parent responds (by clicking on the accept or reject button), the
response (Accepted/Rejected) will be shown in that notification itself and the
accept/reject buttons will not be visible.

5. The parent can click on Know more to see any link attached to the request.

Note: Parents will receive reminder notifications (push notifications in the info tab) twice in
case they have not responded yet: 3 days prior and 1 day prior to the due date (asking them
to respond) before the due date.
