REGISTRATION – 4 November 2024


Community Members (Novices) and ex-miners database registration
– Doornkop Community (Mogale City and City of Johannesburg)
Minimum Requirements: Other Requirements:

• The age limit will be 35 years for novices and 45 years for skilled candidates The following documentation need to be attached to your application:
• Grade 12 certificate and reference to the High School attended
• Ex miners: Valid Certificates of competence as per skill and record of service ➢ CV with specific reference to the ward the candidate resides in
• Must be a local citizen from the wards that host the Operation ➢ Address verification certificate or letter signed by the Ward Councillors
• Letter from your ward councillor stating ward number /district ➢ ID copy
• Must be South African Citizen with valid proof of identity ➢ Highest Education or any other qualification certificates / degrees
• Water and light account as proof of residence/address verification cert from the ward councillor ➢ Other Skills training certificates (in the case of ex miners)
• Proficient in English speaking
• Ability to pass an underground Certificate of Fitness
• Need to pass Security Screening (No fraud, theft or violence)

Notes: Roles and Responsibilities:

➢ Be able to fulfil required roles and responsibilities as per skills (novice/ex miner).
