2. INTRODUCTION
This report summarizes the findings from the site inspection and monthly meeting held on [Date]. The
purpose of the inspection was to monitor the construction progress, identify potential issues, and
ensure compliance with project specifications.
Marine board was observed as the expansion joint filler, which is not suitable for this application.
Recommendations were made to replace it with Cellotex, particle board, or a proper expansion joint
filler.
The ground beam extruded out to the verrender, and the block wall did not appear to properly rest on
the plinth. The structural engineer assured that this would not pose a structural problem since the block
wall is a non-load bearing partition wall. However, it is essential to ensure proper alignment and
installation.
The method of casting columns resulted in non-uniform dimensions. This issue was noted, and
corrections will be made for future castings.
4. MEETING DISCUSSIONS
a. PROGRESS UPDATE
The construction progress was reviewed, and appreciation was expressed for the work accomplished.
b. PAYMENT REQUEST
The contractor requested payment to proceed with the construction work, citing good relations and the
need to avoid project delays. No solid agreement was reached.
5. RECOMMENDATIONS
6. CONCLUSION
The site inspection and meeting highlighted areas requiring attention to ensure project quality and
progress. Recommendations have been made to address these issues. Regular monitoring and
inspections will continue to ensure compliance with project specifications.
