Pronoun
Pronoun is a word that is used in place of a noun
→ Radhika is a beautiful girl.
Radhika lives with her father. (weak error)
Radhika loves Rahul.

→ Radhika is a beautiful girl.

Use of objective Case :

Verb + Objective Case


Eg :

Note : Comparison always takes place between two equal things, unequal things can’t be
compared.

Note : Used for only two persons or things.
Eg :
1. Either of the two boys is intelligent.
2. There are two pens. Either is black.

Errors :-
1. Either of the three sisters is beautiful .
Note : - ‘Either’ is not used for more than two persons or things, “any” or ‘any
one’ is used, not anyone.

3. Neither - Not the one nor the other.


Note - Used for only two persons or things.
Eg :
1. Neither of the two criminals has been arrested .
2. There are two cars, neither is new.
Eg : Neither of the five criminals has been arrested.

Note : “Neither” is not used for more than two persons or things , ‘None’ is used,
‘not one’
→ None of the five criminals has been arrested.

Errors :-
1. It is very easy to do, so I believe that any of the two men can do it without putting in
much effort.
2. None of the two boys was present at the school meeting, so the Principal was very
angry with them.
3. Neither of the three sisters is married and it is nothing short of the unbearable
burden for him.
