Project relevance
Toys are essential belongings in the childhood of everyone. They are always
going to be popular among children. Dolls, cars, small animals and many more, allow
children to perceive this world with curiosity. As Dag et al. mentioned in their
research (2021), It aids in the growth of language, physical, psychosocial, emotional,
and cognitive abilities. It is also essential for developing joyful, creative, self-assured
kids. Therefore, attention should be paid to the concepts of games and toys, which
are crucial for the child to be a part of society in future
According to the Bureau of National Statistics in Kazakhstan, there are 6,4
million children living in our country. (Qazmarka, 2022). Consumer demand will be
present high at any moment.
The proposed subscription-based toy rental web marketplace aligns with the
evolving market trends and consumer preferences, offering a sustainable and
budget-friendly solution for accessing a variety of toys for children's development.
The project holds significant potential in addressing the needs of parents and
caregivers while promoting a culture of responsible consumption and play-based
learning.
In order to further develop this proposal, detailed information on the
technological stack, user experience design, subscription pricing models, and
marketing strategy would be essential components to consider.
Analysis
We were inspired by services that allow parents to rent toys for their children.
Because it massively improves their economic state, by providing rent services or
subscriptions to have many toys and not paying full price for it. We analyzed two
services in the United Kingdom: Babonbo and Whirli.
Whirli provides various types of toys, you can find toys for every kid of 0-8
years.
Project auditory
The development of the subscription-based toy rental web marketplace entails
creating a platform that offers a wide variety of toys for different age groups,
fostering children's holistic development through play. The marketplace will provide
parents and caregivers with a convenient and cost-effective means of accessing
high-quality toys while promoting sustainable consumption practices.
Secondly, all of the participants were unaware of the idea of a toy rental
system. However, 38,9% of parents would like to see this project in action, which is a
good sign.
Last but not least, the average money spent on toys in month period, will
allow us understand the median of the future subscription cost:

stimulating toys.

varying durations and toy preferences, providing options for customization based on
individual needs.
Logistics and Operations: Establishing efficient logistics and operational
processes for toy delivery, return, and maintenance, ensuring a seamless user
experience.
Customer Support: Implementing responsive customer support channels to
address inquiries, feedback, and assistance for subscribers.
