REC Recommended M/W / 60 CBT Mandatory - within 1 week(W) or 1 month (M) of joining. (60) not exceeding a 5 year period (60 months)

1. V.Ships Induction available on LMS as emergency / refresher. ESSENTIAL pre joining

2. Seafarers to take modules acording to ShipSure Training matrix. All to understand Hour of Work/Rest module to enable own data entry.
3. V.Ships Navigation Standards. CBT 36 month refresh interval.
4. VCG should confirm presence of MARLINS / Videotel CBT on board prior to deferring any CBT training (denoted **) until after joining.
5. BTM/BRM/ERM refresh interval 36 months. CRM is suitable refresher. ERM recommended only until full STCW implementation (2017)
6. Relevant STCW training should be completed prior to joining. Where this cannot be achieved, V.Ships CBT available to meet internal company demands. Note this may not meet requirement of all Flags.
SSO incorporates SDSD. SDSD incorporates SSA. Vessel must have at least 1 SSO on board.
7. For vessels with ice class notation and where trading pattern requires.
8. For vessels trading in US Waters. Course to be complete prior to departing last port before US waters. Manadatory for all Officer & Bosun. Recommended for all others.
9. Course names may may vary prior to full implementation of STCW Manila Amendments. *Pumpman only if Flag administration requires.
10. Crude carriers only .
