National

The National Investigation Agency (NIA), established under the NIA Act of 2008,

The Telangana government has replaced the Rythu Bandhu scheme with the

The Assam government launched the first phase of Gunotsav 2025, with the theme

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has been re-certified as a 'Great Place to Work'

recognition from the Great Place to Work Institute, India.

State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced a fully digital, TAB-based onboarding process
⭐⭐ for NRIs to open NRE and NRO accounts, aiming to eliminate physical paperwork and
expedite account setup.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the merger of National Co-operative
⭐ Bank (Bangalore) with Cosmos Co-operative Bank (Maharashtra) under Sub-Section
(4) of Section 44A and Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.

State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced two schemes: ‘Har Ghar Lakhpati’ for
⭐⭐⭐ recurring deposits to save ₹1 lakh or more, and ‘SBI Patrons,’ a fixed deposit for
senior citizens aged 80+, promoting financial inclusion.

India will revise its GDP base year from 2011-12 to 2022-23, with implementation set
⭐⭐⭐ for early 2026 to enhance the accuracy of national accounts.
