SHYJITH, VARUN

Dear Sir

RE: DEFERMENT OF STUDIES AND RESUMPTION

SHYJITH, VARUN - STUDENT I.D. 10942569

Your letter dated 8th November 2024 requesting for deferment of your programme of study is
acknowledged. I write to grant you permission for deferment for the 2024/2025 academic Year

You will be expected to resume your programme of study at the beginning of the first semester of the
2025/2026 Academic Year at LEVEL 400.

For resumption, you will be required to report to your College Academic Office with this letter to be assisted
with your on-line registration for the Semester. This should be done earlier than two weeks before the
start of teaching for the semester of resumption.

Registration is subject to full payment of all prescribed fees.

Please be reminded of the policy on the Interruption of Study Programme per the University Regulations for
Junior Members (Sept.2017), Section 9.11 as follows:

a) “A student may interrupt his/her study programme for Two Continuous Semesters only, provided
that the minimum period allowable for the completion of the programme is not exceeded.
b) With the express permission of the Vice-Chancellor, a student may be permitted to interrupt his/her
studies by two additional semesters not exceeding four semesters overall.
d) A student who interrupts his/her studies beyond the allowed 4 continuous semesters shall be
deemed to have lost any accumulated credits. Consequently, his/her studentship shall be cancelled.
Such a student may, however, be allowed to re-apply for admission into the University.”

Sincerely,

Mawuena Abortta (Ms.)
