To give appreciation to the years of service of the BHW and BNS retirees.

VII. Introduction of the Program/ Activity:

This activity was conducted in order to give acknowledgement to the hard work
and long service of the retirees and to promote camaraderie among the BHWs and
BNS. The retirement program was conducted in the morning and followed by the
BHW day in the afternoon. There were 5 BHWs and 1 BNS who celebrated their
retirement on that day.
VIII. Highlights of the Program/ Activity
The program started at 08: 30 in the morning with an opening prayer, national anthem
and M’lang hymn. The welcome address was given by Maida L. Francisco, RN,BHW
Municipal Coordinator and followed by the acknowledgement of the guests and
participants delivered by Charmain B. Palmes, RND, Municipal Nutrition Action
Officers. The 6 retirees were presented by the BHW president, Editha O. Ramirez and
BNS president, Evelyn S. Calanao followed by the glimpses delivered by the
barangay captains, midwives and kagawad on health of the retirees. Inspirational
messages were also given by Glecerio C. Sotea Jr., MD- Municipal Health Officer,
Hon. Ryan T. Tamba- SB Committee on Health Chairperson, Hon. Joselito F. Piñol-
Municipal Vice Mayor and followed by Mrs. Vilma Magarzo as the representative of
the municipal mayor and cash gifts were given also individually to the retirees
according to their years of service.
In the afternoon, the BHWs celebrated their BHW day starting with a prayer and a
message from Ernest Pol Mikhail Roldan, RN, MD-Medical Officer. Series of parlor
games were conducted which promotes camaraderie and unity among the BHWs. At
4:30 in the afternoon the closing program was done.

XI. Accomplishments or Outcome


Five BHW and one BNS retired and the BHW day celebration was conducted
successfully.
