Lesson
Today we type.
Different keyboards are used around the world so not all students are familiar
with the QWERTY keyboard. However, it is commonly used in many countries.
The QWERTY keyboard has the keys organized in a way to make typing easier,
more efficient. It is not organized alphabetically.
NB: It’s not important that students remember the names of keys. It’s important
that they know how to use them and where to find them.
You need to demonstrate as you use them what the different keys type.
Open either Microsoft Word Or a Google Doc. On the teacher computer as well
as on each student computer.
Google Docs are free for anyone with a Gmail account.
