Its Where my Demons Lie
"My Oni Girl" plays with fire, in it utilizes a lot of story tropes that drive me crazy in less talented hands. I typically hate
stories where misunderstandings lead to people running away. I hate vague world building with unclear
consequences. And I hate when stories take an extreme tonal shift part way through the story. But, in this film, these
things didn't bother me as much. The secret to that success comes down to the likability of our main characters.

Decent but bad at explaining things
The animation is beautiful, the music is bangin', the characters are great, and the first half is actually pretty good!
That's about where it ends though. One of things I see being talked about the most is that it has no message,
however, it does have a message, that being: Share your true feelings with the ones you love before it's too late. It
just does a bad job executing it. It also does a bad job at explaining things, it never explains what happened to
Tsugumi's mom, why the snow gods attacked, why Hiragii was connected, etc. The best part is the credits and that's
not even a joke, I just really like ZUTOMAYO and "Truth in lies".

Unexplained story
Honestly i don't really hate the movie but there was some unexplainable story and lore in this anime, that's make me
curious about the story. Honestly i love the art style, cool graphics and i love the personality of every character in this
movie. I just did'nt understand about the story perfectly, there was so many unexplained story and the ending is
hanging for me, but the art style make balanced the story, i i just don't understand it perfectly. Maybe it's
recommended for the childern to watch but i just think the story of this movie doesn't suitable for me, but yeah the art
and the character is make it recommend to watch if you curious.
