folder. Select a track or a section of the track and go to menu Render | Export ACID Loop - Highlighted section or
entire track to WAV in Loops Folder. This will open the Export Section of Current Track to Wave File dialog.

info into the .WAV file.

You can now render an audio track (a highlighted section or the whole track) as a .WAV file and save it to the
UserTracks folder. To use this feature, select a track or a section of the track and go to menu Render | Save as
UserTracks (highlighed section or whole track). This will open the Save as UserTracks dialog.

New Features in RealBand 2016 3

Press the [OK] button and RealBand will write
the Acid info into the .WAV file.

Save Chords Window as video.

You can now save your song as an AVI video that you can upload to YouTube or work with in video programs. The
“video” portion is the Chord Sheet in RealBand that shows the chords and a highlighted bar moving as the song
plays. Song title and song info displays at the top of the window. For example, you can make a backing track for a
cool chord progression, and upload it to YouTube for others to play along to. Do a visual transpose and upload a
second version for Bb tenor sax players.
To use this feature, press the [Save As] button and choose Save Chords Window as Video (upload to
YouTube, etc.) from the pulldown menu.

Enable “Custom dimensions” if you want to choose the width and height of the video. If this is disabled, then the
video dimensions will match the Chord Sheet as it appears.
A higher number you set for “Frames Per Second” will result in a large file and the rendering process will take
longer.
You can select a specific “Codec” to encode the video. If “Auto” is selected, Band-in-a-Box will choose a
compatible codec.
If “Include Title” is enabled, the video will have a black bar at the top containing the title and information shown
below.
Press the [OK - Render Video] button to start rendering the video. The video will continue to render unless you
press the [Cancel Rendering] button. When the rendering is done, a message will show and you will be able to
press the [Upload to YouTube] or [Show Video File] button.

recording.
This is a great indicator to show you any clipping during recording. For example, if clipping occurred at bar 4 and
you didn’t realize it at that time but you might notice at bar 6. You will then know that you should stop recording
because it’s ruined.

MIDI overviews will be displayed on the Tracks Window while MIDI is being recorded.
Notation right-click menu now shows in all notation modes.
Previously, right-click menu was available in the Standard and
Editable modes but not in the Staff Roll mode. Now, you will
see a menu when you click in the Staff Roll mode.

Enable the “Show Event MS” option, and extra fields will display.
